   We had cocktails and appetizers! The cocktails and drinks were great however the food was awful! In a nut shell, all the dishes were way too salty to the point they were not edible. In this day and age when high sodium levels impact people's health (blood pressure in particular), loading up a dish with sodium completely turns me off and in this case it was so high I couldn't eat the food!

   Always love the breakfast here. The breakfast potatoes are my favorite! Consistently good. The champagne tower is fun too!

   This place is the perfect spot for a date night. The menu has delicious elevated Italian dishes. The staff were amazing and the overall experience was great. This place is highly recommended

   My steak was overcooked but they fixed it immediately. Then they left bone out of take away box. There was a lot of meat on the bone and I was looking forward to it as a midnight snack.

   Overall phenomenal Italian Restaurant. Perhaps it was the time I went but, there was a very loud and noisy table. But other than that the food was amazing and everything was worth every dollar I spent.

   My wife and I went here early, before the symphony. The service was very good and the food was delivered quickly. We had a chopped salad with olives, cheese and salami. The dressing was overdone , making the whole thing really acidic. We both had chef specials - she had the pizza and I had the pasta. The pizza was okay. My pasta was pesto based with potato, bacon (?) and an interesting long, curly pasta. It was greasy and heavy and quite salty. Little slices of potato were actually the best thing about it as they were lighter and less greasy than the rest of the dish. This restaurant claims to be the best Italian restaurant in Fort Worth. The service and location are really wonderful. Sadly, the kitchen is second rate.

    We were celebrating my husband's birthday in Ft Worth and chose Il Modo for out dinner. Patrick was our server and he was excellent. Very helpful with our menu choices and attentive. He seemed to arrive just at the right moment, whether to refill drinks or ask if we needed anything. I had the mussels and chopped salad as my entree and it was perfect. The mussels broth was incredible and it came with four slices of bread with some incredible aioli on it. The salad dressing was a vinaigrette and I asked for it on the side because I don't like a 'drowned' salad and I'm not wild about tart dressings. I can't even describe the dressing. It was out of this world, creamy and flavorful and I could have eaten it by itself. The mussels were large and meaty and the broth had just a bit of heat from the nduja broth. Excellent! My husband ordered the gnocchi with wild boar rags. I had a bite. Wow! All in all, great ambience, great service and great food. We will most certainly be back and we've already told friends about Il Modo.
