Since I was 13 years old, I've been in the restaurant industry. I started in my grandfather’s restaurant & worked my way up to running one of the most successful restaurants in NYC - Patsy’s Italian Restaurant. My grandfather worked his way up in the restaurant industry in the 1930's and '40s and in 1942 opened his first Italian restaurant, The Sorrento. When it came time to name our new restaurant, we decided on IL Sorrento in honor of my grandfather. I know my grandparents & my mom are smiling down on us with approval. I've lived in Westchester since 1984 & have always dreamed about opening an Italian restaurant here .. now the dream is a reality. My family & I believe that having a successful restaurant is a simple formula - give people what they want: Good Food, Good Service and Good Value. At IL Sorrento, we are embracing old world charm of Southern Italy & bringing it to Westchester County. Our hope is that you will enjoy being at IL Sorrento as much as we will enjoy serving you

    It was a wonderful experience. The staff was very friendly and attentive. The food is delicious and there are many good choices. I had striped bass special and it was delicious. I highly recommend this restaurant.

    What a find! This is our second time and it does not disappoint. The exterior does NOT do the ambiance of the interior justice. Beautiful, modern and comfortable vibe. The staff is very attentive. The menu is fabulous and the food is delicious. ….and just discovered the private booth table area which is perfect for a special event/dinner. Already has me thinking! Def add this one to your “GoTo’s”!

    This was our first visit and it won’t be our last. The food was positively delicious and the staff were very attentive and welcoming. The restaurant was bustling but our food came out promptly. Everything was wonderful, but The stand outs were the chicken francese and the pistachio panna cotta for dessert!

    The wait for baked clams was unrushed and worth it. The saltimboca was very good. Every table was occupied in the restaurant, and the noise level made conversation difficult.
