Blackpool has so many fantastic places to eat, but our delightful Palm Court restaurant is the place for a sumptuous, relaxing dinner. The Victorian dining room is full of grandeur and our restaurant team always go that little bit further to make serving a meal a magical experience.

The views in the restaurant are spectacular, with sweeping vistas across the Fylde coast and the occasional heritage tram tootling by. Diners can soak in the scenery while enjoying fine dining from the table d’hôte menu that changes quarterly, according to the seasons.

We also have a range of daily specials, with our chefs using locally sourced produce whenever possible to ensure that only the best and freshest ingredients are used. The restaurant has flexible seating arrangements, so we can cater for large parties and children are also well catered for, thanks to the family dining options.

For guests not resident at the hotel, please be sure to enter your car registration details on arrival.

We really had high hopes for this Sunday dinner at £20 ahead we expected more. The service was fabulous couldn’t fault a thing. The table and cutlery lay out was lovely. There wasn’t really a starter it was just a few bits of salad I think they could have put on a soup option at least. The Sunday dinner its self was just ok. There were two small sides of beef which was quite tough and half of it had a lot of fat on. It wasn’t particularly hot and could have been more veg and meat. They did offer an apple crumble for dessert which was fabulous great portion and very tasty there were also some cold mouse type deserts which were lovely, But the actual roast itself could have been so much better, The restaurant itself is a lovely room and we had a seat in the window. It would have been lovely to have seen the brass bars accross the windows polished up would have just lifted the window area. Unfortunately we won’t be returning anytime soon.

Arrived at the hotel a bit early so decided to have a glass of wine whilst we waited to have afternoon tea for my self and my 80 year old mother ,which was booked2pm . We arrived at the palm court at 1.54 to be told by frank ..we are running behind as we have a sign language conference on today and it’s been busy for lunch …go back to lounge come back in 15 mins . So we walked back to the hotel foyer and finished off our wine . At 2.15 we walked back to Palm Court bearing in mind my mother is 80 and not good at walking upon arrival and saying we had afternoon tea booked at 2pm , Frank then said “ooh where have you been we were going to send out a search party for you uh our table was booked for 2pm”….upon hearing this I said to him we came at 1.54 but you told us to go back to foyer and come back in 15 mins time …I was fuming !!!!! The afternoon tea was lovely very good value for money but just a little upset at our welcome having never been inside the hotel and I’m nearly 60 , and have been coming to Blackpool for over 50 years .

The food was really good and it was the first time we’d had the warm items to start with. The venue was impressive but that’s where the wow factor stopped. Nothing was done with the table setting, it was very sparse. I’ve had quite a few afternoons teas and I’ve always been offered a selection of teas, here it was “do you want tea or coffee?” And when I asked if they had a selection they said “yes, what do you want?”, no choice was given. Despite there only being a couple of other customers there, service was really slow, with us having to get up and ask for a refill of our drinks twice. The last ones took 45 minutes to get to our table. The experience could have been so much better without it costing more. I think the staff just need a brush up on some customer service skills. One bit of advice I would give is when your customers arrive, acknowledge them. Don’t not make eye contact, walk off whilst saying over your shoulder, “put this lot on that table”. It’s not very welcoming.

Food was amazing and plentiful. 2 members of staff servicing plus chef and a lady member of staff going through a binder folder it wasn’t hugely busy when we arrived at 14.30 but did have more tables arrive. And staff seemed like they had 1 pace and couldn’t kick it up a notch, which on occasion you need to be able to do. This wouldn’t put me off as the food is so good.

The afternoon tea was a balance between treat and savoury rather than the traditional sweet heavy ones. Each item was delicious and there was enough to leave you feeling full afterwards without feeling over-stuffed. I particularly enjoyed the cherry scone rather than sultana, and the cheese scone with chive butter and chutney.
