   The food is good not spectacular. Ambiance is nice. The disappointment is having to give a credit card to hold a reservation with the threat of a fee if needing to cancel. Another example of corporate greed over personal customer experience. Because of that probably wouldn’t recommend to others.

   We are not a corporate restaurant. The fee is only charged when you do not call or cancel yourself within 24 hours of your reservation. Happy Holidays Jonathan.

   Sitting by the hvac system on front porch was louder than desired. Other than that, food was good and service was excellent.

   Indigenous is the best place to eat in Sarasota without fail. The food quality is exceptional and the menu changes seasonally except for the staple burger. You can’t miss going here for dinner the next time you’re in Sarasota!

   We were there to celebrate our 50th wedding anniversary and were not disappointed. The atmosphere (sat outside) was perfect, the service…. Perfect and the food outstanding! I have to mention that the pace in which our orders were delivered was spot on. We started with the appetizers Parmesan Beignets and Pickled lemon shrimp followed by our entrees of the Akaroa salmon with green goddess Tokyo turnip, butternut squash , smoked garlic whipped cream cheese, topped with a rye crunch and Braised beef, mushroom, Swiss chard , ricotta, rosemary bread crumbs,with pappardelle topped with Parmesan. Desert was Brown butter white chocolate brownie with maple apple cider caramel vanilla bean ice cream with apple chips. Just a perfect perfect evening. We will return. One of the best parts is they take reservations

   This was our second dinner here. Our first was for our engagement dinner. This one was for our just married dinner. The food only seems to exceed expectations. The staff is professional, sweet and attentive. To be married at 3pm and have dinner at 6pm with this restaurant being one of the major highlights of the day. We couldn't have asked for a better way to end the day. Many thanks to all that work there and we will be returning sooner than later!

   The wild mushroom bisque was excellent as always. My dining partner and I had the two different fish options and found them both a bit disappointing. The flavors were too mild for our tastes.

    Never a disappointing meal here! Not only is the food exceptional, but it is nice to see familiar faces among the wait staff. This is always our first stop when we return from up north because we know we’ll be treated to a special evening.
