   Best. Food. Ever! You offer such a variety of yummy plates, both traditional and with some surprises. Amazing service, and the perfect atmosphere.

   Hi Suzanne, I'm very sorry you didn't enjoy your vegetarian options on Thanksgiving. Next time you are disappointed by the entree, please feel free to let my restaurant manager know so she can ask the kitchen to create something special that would enjoy. I'd rather make you happy during dinner than read about it on our only negative review Thanksgiving review on-line. Thanksgiving is one of the most travelled day or the year, it's safe to say, all restaurant we're at capacity for this holiday each season. A full house is to be expected.    We celebrated my husband’s Bday while watching the beautiful moonlight over the lake at our window table. Delicious plank salmon and curried cod. Katherine, and all the wait staff were impeccable. Topped with a creamy key lime pie and a cheesecake. Will return again when they open in the spring.

   Food is great. Drinks/cocktails are solid, some are bit pricey but there’s enough options to get what you like at a decent price. The servers are very polite and friendly. The little bar room is nice and cozy too

   Another wonderful dinner at the Inn. Our server was terrific. She really made the evening extra enjoyable. The food was delicious. We'll be back.

   It is a wonderful place with great food and great ambiance. The evening was warm, and we enjoyed sitting outside by the fire pits after a delicious dinner. The property was lovingly restored. The restaurant overlooks the lake. The cuisine is modern Mediterranean. We come here a couple of times a year. The first time was thirty-six years ago.

   Just here for dinner. Our first visit amd we will be back!!! Had the vegetarian lasagna and shrimp scampi. Both excellent!

   We were visiting our son at Cornell for family weekend. We wanted to take him to a nice dining experience. From the moment we sat down, the service and ambience were fantastic. Our server Adam was attentive and gave great recommendations. The apps and food were great and we never felt rushed. Overall a great family dining experience.

    Dinner without a view It’s sad to leave a negative review on such a beautiful restaurant but our experience was truly disappointing. We arrived at 5:00 for our 5:15 reservation. We were seated in the front room of the restaurant, remote from the beautiful lakeview. We inquired about being seated at one of the over dozen unoccupied tables overlooking the lake. The manager informed us that these tables were not available, despite telling her that we would not be dining long as we had tickets to an event. We even requested to sit at the next table in the same room which offered a partial lake view, and she said no. As anticipated, after we finished our meal, there were still several available lake view tables. She seemed to have no interest in trying to enhance our guest experience. Surely she could have accommodated our request but she chose to be inflexible. Poor management skills. I will be hesitant to return.

    Dear Susan, I'm very sorry that not be sat at a table you desired when entering our restaurant created so much disappointed and yielded us a 2 star review. Every restaurant works the same way, tables are held based on reservations for a specific time slot. The tables you mention as empty were held for reservations that were taken prior to your arrival. This is a first come, first served scenario. Unfortunately today, some dinner patrons make multiple dinner reservations at different restaurants around town and never have the courtesy to call and cancel their other reservations. May I recommend, next time you make a dinner reservation, its best to ask for your favorite table and see if it's available to be reserved. Warmest, Carl - Owner - Inn at Taughannock Falls
