Insalata's Restaurant is moving into it's 28th year of the community minded restaurants in San Anselmo. Insalata's receives Bib Gourmand from Michelin for it's 15th year in a row.
Our goal at Insalata's has always been to bring luscious Mediterranean food, gracious service and a warm atmosphere to our diners. For over 28 years we have shared this experience of intimate dining and joyful celebrations in a variety of ways. First and foremost as a fine dining restaurant with our beautiful private Siena room in which to sit and relax and enjoy a meal. We also offer take out dining for those days when time is of the essence, or catered affairs where we bring great food and staff into your home or venue. Our guests have become family and we have grown together in the community in which we all live and work. Everyone at Insalata's is extremely proud to be a part of this extended "village" family.

    Another outstanding meal at our favorite neighborhood restaurant. Waiter Brian was attentive and gave great menu advice including the outstanding duck confit and braised lamb chops. It is a comfortable and inviting atmosphere- elegant but not at all stuffy. Can’t be beat!

    Ate at the bar. Ben, the bartender is a magician and wonderful to chat with as he performs his tasks of preparing fabulous cocktails for the whole restaurant. Lamb burger with fries was delicious and I took home half, it was so filling. This restaurant has a great vibe, food exemplary, staff really friendly and helpful. No wonder they are always busy. They earned it!!!
