   Amazing food great drinks and great service overall an amazing experience I like how they have a nice selection of wines by the glass and also many tequila and whiskey options.

   We had a wonderful dinner and great service for my wife’s birthday. The toffee cake is outstanding. Love the vibe we will be returning often.

   Pleasantly surprised by this intimate find…it is small but very comfortable and well appointed…they have embraced a lot of French motif with some very good Italian food… bar is very comfortable but no backs on the stools…2 tv s and some extremely friendly help… will be going back soon I’m sure

   Wow! Everything you hear about this Amazing speakeasy restaurant is TRUE! The whole vibe is cool, inviting and perfect! We were a group of 4 women and we ate at the bar. The food is on par with food in Italy which is very difficult to find in the USA! The chef at Italica is outstanding- she’s a very talented woman. From the big metal front door to the interior decor - everything sets a wonderful tone. It’s creative and presented beautifully. The entire staff from the manager to the servers assistants were so helpful, kind and sincere. Don’t get us started about the cocktails - creative and delicious. The bartender provided suggestions based on what each of our tastes were and we were all in heaven with his choices. It’s soooo overdue to have a place of this quality at our end of the Coachella valley. Run…don’t walk… and try Italicia if you like FUN, amazing food and creative cocktails… if you don’t Stay Home!

   Strict seating policy, make a reservation throughout winter season. Food was good and delivered as ordered. Wait staff was friendly.

   Great “speakeasy” ambiance, fantastic wine and delicious food—one standout dish was the meatball appetizer—made for a promising start. However, where things fell apart was service. While mostly friendly, it was slow and disorganized—appetizers arrived after an hour, the staff fumbled orders, and dishes and service items were whisked away too soon. The biggest disappointment came when after those initial delays and fumbles, when the host bluntly told our party we had “monopolized the table for too long”. Understanding the need to turnover tables in a busy space, but one tactless comment can ruin what should have been a special senior birthday celebration.

    Metallica is a welcome addition to downtown Indio. But definitely has a cool factor and is a beautiful restaurant. We had reservations for two, but I had friends that wanted to join us at the last minute and we were seated at the bar. Not super comfortable. Barstools don't have backs and of course it was difficult to visit when we were all at the bar not at a table. The food was delicious, but unfortunately ours got served about 10 minutes before our friends so that was awkward. Very nice staff. I think they will get better over time.  We will try it again later.
