The Ivy never disappoints. The staff are amazing and always make us feel welcome, which combined with excellent food and a great aesthetic make for a classic restaurant worth returning.

The food at The Ivy at the Shore is always excellent! The scones are delish. The spicy corn chowder is so yummy! Our server Ray was very attentive. I always love the fresh roses on the table.

This is a great place, but always try to get the tables closest to the water. It’s a wonderful part of the restaurant. The drinks are amazing, strong and perfectly prepared. If you’re having more than one you definitely do not want to be driving.

Valentines Day dinner was like a 3 ring circus in this place. The room we were placed in was freezing. Finally they turned on heaters 9:40 pm. They served us crab cakes appetizer 3 tiny Hockey pucks at $29. They looked liked they came out of the freezer and tossed into deep fryer. We sent it back. Waiter looked annoyed. So annoyed he ignored us and made us wait to take the rest of our order. We moved our seat into warmer climate and better treatment. The bread arrived. Warm but tasteless and low quality. Theres fabulous bread all over this city. Why in the world does this place serve this stuff? Pasta w seafood was acceptable Branzini w beans was a joke. White on white on white plate. They didn’t even try. Throw on a piece of parsley or something. I couldnt bring myself to taste any of it. Finally the waiter brought salmon dish. Something the kitchen knew what to do with. Delicious. Place used to be fabulous turned into tourist trap. Never again

Food was honey and good - and overpriced, but that’s the Ivy ethos. Service was spot-on and the vibe can’t be beat, and it was nice to see the space filled with obvious regulars after all we’ve had to deal with in January. Support your local restaurants!

This is my absolute favorite restaurant in LA. Whether I’m having a casual lunch with a friend to catch up for my wedding lunch (true story), the Ivy is my top choice every time. The staff is unparalleled as is the food and the ambiance. They don’t make restaurants like this anymore!!
