This was my 5th visit to Izabella. Definitely not up to the level of my previous visits. We had a party of 3 and were served your nice bread and oil/balsamic. Literally 5 minutes after placing our orders, two of our orders showed up. The third order however took over 20 minutes to arrive at our table which made dinner quite awkward watching each other eat. The food quality, or more specifically the way it was prepared, seems to have dropped a notch. Usually it’s quite excellent, this time was “okay”. Everything else was fine.

This is one place that does not dissapoint! Everytime...Everything is perfect. Fast friendly service. The food was delicious and prepared perfectly. Favorite place in SLT

every time I come visit South Lakr Tahoe, I have always wanted to try this restaurant. Celebrated my nephew’s graduation and my sister’s birthday. Food was nothing to brag about, presentation is very poor and the taste isn’t to my liking…i ordered their special sole and it was horrible. they snuck our party in a tiny booth, ugly table, service wasn’t up to par…overall i should have given a one star but gave 2 stars for effort.

Well it’s like this. As soon as you walk into restaurant you feel like you are so welcomed. The food and service was excellent. We will definitely go back.

We had a reservation on a Saturday night. We were seated immediately (at the table furthest away from the entrance). We were concerned that we might be forgotten at the very end of the restaurant. But we were wrong. Our server Rafael checked on us on a regular basis, he was very attentive and friendly. Our food (minestrone, veal Marsala, linguine pescadore) was excellent. The Pinot blanc we had with our meal was also great. Definitely a place to return to.
