   Have eaten at J&S a number of times and have looked forward to coming back in the past. Saturday was not their best night. Table of 4 and we all had pasta dished. Hour and a half to get our entrees and I didn't want to finish it. Will try them again and hope to get back to previous form.

   Pros: the Alfredo sauce here is amazing. I’m not sure what kind of magic they put in it to make it taste so delicious, but it is magical. We were able to get a reservation a month out. The hostess at the door was so kind and even offered to take our picture with the balloon arch. Payton’s kiss, a cute pink beverage they offered, was very tasty and strong. Cons: I know these are circumstantial cons, but since we were seated along the wall (which I like) next to a big, rowdy table of Gen-Xer’s (I love gen-x but they were so drunk), we got overlooked. This sounds so petty, but we had to ask for bread (our reservation was for 8:30 so we came hungry). Our waitress seemed to pay less attention to us when she heard we weren’t ordering any appetizers, just straight to the entree. The Gen X table next to us had all members of their 8-12 member party banging on the table singing Queen’s “We Will Rock You” and everyone ignored it. This had to be because it was Valentine’s Day, but definitely not what I expected to experience at this usually lovely venue.

   What a lovely restaurant! The manager and owner came by to see how we were enjoying our meal..The chef made eggplant parmigiana for me even though it wasn't on the menu. It was absolutely delicious! The waitress was very gracious.

   We had a great first time experience for dinner here. The bread and butter they serve is worth the trip by itself. It was amazing and my husband and I both agreed it was probably the best bread and butter served that we’ve ever had. Our appetizer choices were the shrimp appetizer and clam appetizer. Both had amazing flavors and were so good! Our salad and main course were fabulous too. We definitely plan on coming back.

    It was my granddaughters 25th birthday .. we had a table in the bar area as requested… the guy who sings there is sooooooooooo amazing! We love Thursday night “ladies night” Fun classy place!! Our food was amazing and the wine was great! We will for sure be back!
