    We sat on the patio so beautiful. All of the people working outside were super friendly making sure we were all taken care of I.e. making sure we were warm enough, had drinks etc. The food was excellent we will be back. Prior to Covid the food was sub par so we quit going now it is better than it ever was. amazing evening thank you!

    Waited 20 minutes past our reservation time to be seated. $78 wagyu steak looked like something you’d find at Sizzler. Salad was ordered with chicken but was served without it. By the time waiter came to check on table and then retrieve chicken, meal was just about over. Disappointing experience.

    Food was incredible but they seem to be severely understaffed and we had to find someone to help us multiple times. It’s a beautiful restaurant and is perfect for large groups, especially if you’re in no hurry… but we were hungry. We showed up at our reservation time and weren’t seating until 20 minutes later AFTER I asked the hostess how much longer. The tables were all open and she just forgot about us it seemed. I don’t remember the service being that bad years ago when I used to frequent it before it closed temporarily.

    We had ribs. As always they were great. We had hoped for Maine Lobsters which we had over the summer. Those 2 pounders were great and I guess we will have to wait for the next time they are available. But overall, Jackalop is one of the very best restaurants Indio and we hope that continues.

    We enjoyed our food, though the portions were smaller than would be expected for the price. Service was friendly but slow. Great ambiance and setting on the back patio and a good band playing enhanced experience. We’ll be back.

    Jacklope Ranch has a lot going for it. The setting is stunning, with a variety of seating from bring comfortable and cozy, outside on the yard, or in the thick of things in the bar. Our server was excellent, friendly, and attentive. Some menu items are outstanding-- like the rib eye steak, the nachos, burger, fries, calamari, chili, and the meat platter (to share). Other choices just need to be elevated, or eliminated. The "grilled cauliflower" is blah, the lobster roll completely wrong, the beef sliders overcooked. This restaurant would be 5-star if they'd improve the menu.
