   Teddy the server did an excellent job. I have been to this location several times and he has served me 2xs. When I return I will ask for him. The service and food are always on point. Thanks

   We were greeted upon entering and seated immediately. The food was terrific, as always, and prepared as ordered. The service was not up to the usual level of attention, as there were long periods of time between sightings of our server.

   We go to JAKES very often because it is a warm and welcoming restaurant, with a wonderful staff and excellent food. The steak menu is extensive and the steaks are delicious, with a good choice of tasty side dishes. Having valet parking is very welcome, as well. Jakes is our go to restaurant, with many other diners sharing our opinion as well, judging from the nice atmosphere in the restaurant.

   Jake’s used to be amazing, however, they seem to have fallen since COVID. I won’t be returning for a while. Hope they can figure it out and get back to how they used to bed.

   I have been there before and enjoyed it but this time I did not. The clams oreganata were dry and overcooked. The lobster Mac and cheese was dry and not cheesy. More creamy. I paid $24 for it as a shareable side but it was small and only had 4 pieces of lobster. The mashed potatoes were not buttery for the steak. She messed up my drink order. The staff was nice. I do like that it is informal vibe. The steak was tender. For the price you pay, we could have had tastier food. The previous times I have been there the food was better.

   My husband and I come here every year. Our server Myrene was amazing. We also have had Marissa she’s amazing as well. Love the vibe and the service. It feels like home. Will definitely come back ❤️
