   We had a very pleasant evening and enjoyed our meal on a very busy evening. Service was excellent and the food was served hot and was tasty.

   Went for New Years Eve. Both the bone-in ribeye and the beef Wellington were very tough. Appeared to be cooked at the right temperature, so not sure why they were so tough. Owner said there was nothing wrong with them so I guess that’s how they do their steaks. Our server was outstanding, however.

   While our server Christian was absolutely amazing. We were disappointed in the fact that we had a 6:30 reservation and weren’t seated until 7:02. They clearly overbooked or took people that didn’t have reservations. It was absolutely chaotic and crowded when we walked in. Took us about 10 minutes to even get to the host stand to check in. After waiting that long, we got to our table and ordered. My husband got the porterhouse and I got the Beef Wellington. My husband’s porterhouse was great. My Wellington was just okay. The puff pastry was only on the top of the Wellington. It wasn’t fully wrapped in it which was kind of disappointing. My mashed potatoes clearly weren’t fresh. I ate one bite. The broccoli it came with was cold and barely cooked. Overall my meal was just okay. Luckily my husband liked his meal. It was his birthday so that was good.

   The food was great quality and portions. Very clean and light not too heavy; with 8 people everyone raved about what they ordered. The service was excellent; kind timely and accommodating. The ambience was holiday lights the music the vibe for New Year’s Eve. The prices for the amount of food was very reasonable. Off the highway too. Greek Halibut calamari all steaks oysters salads! Would definitely recommend and return!

   We went to the restaurant on New Years Eve. It was very crowded but not too loud. Our waitress was excellent (i.e. refilling our wine glasses then delivering our delicious meals). Our steaks were cooked to perfection. Highly recommend.

   I ordered the filet mignon. It was 16oz of the most tender steak I have ever had. Cooked to perfection (medium rare). Soup, salad (which was a nice size), potato and vegetable. Excellent service also. I love Jamesons in Arlington Heights.
