We don't take ourselves too seriously at Jax Fish House. Two things we do take seriously? The freshness and sustainability of our seafood. You know fresh fish when you see, smell, and taste it-and thanks to modern delivery technology, we bring in that freshy-fresh seven days a week. Sustainability is a little more complicated. Not all commercial fisheries are created equal. That's why we work closely with our suppliers and science-based organizations to ensure that every single thing we serve is responsibly sourced. We consider the stocks of the species we source to prevent overfishing and we work with suppliers who harvest in ways that have minimal impacts on marine environments.

    It was ok went for the $.50 oyster night. They supposedly sold 1000 oysters in the first hour and a half the place was dead felt like they lied about sell out

    Top notch!!! Buddy’s advice on oysters was spot on for us. (East and west coast). Salad, brussels, shishitos, all awesome. Every associate there was welcoming and personable. First time experience, will go again soon. Oh, you probably should share a generous portion of Key Lime pie

    Given our standards are pretty high for such a place (live along gulf coast and kived in New Orleans), I wiould say Ajax is legit. Service was excellent and the food very good. Their sound system was a bit loud and would have preferred jazz vs whatever that was but we had an enjoyable evening.

    We had the calamari, crawfish gumbo, fried catfish, crab cake, chocolate chip cookies, and key lime pie. The only items we finished were the crawfish gumbo and crab cake. Nothing was great, nothing had a lot of flavor. It was meh, at best. We won’t go back. The service was perfectly good, but the food wasn’t.
