Designed by the famous chef Roberto Solis and his partner chef Manuel Balan, Jayu is an exclusive Japanese food restaurant with Yucatecan touches, hence the name JA for Japan, YU for Yucatan.
The concept is a 10-seat bar in which interaction is created between the chefs and the diner.
We have 3 menus.
-Nigiris menu.
-Short omakase.
-Long omakase.
We do not share any menu as it changes constantly, as we depend on daily supplies for its preparation, which consists of fish, seafood, meat and poultry.

    El lugar esta muy bien, acogedor y cumple con esa funcion. La comida es excelente, ambos menus son muy completos y la fusion funciona. No habia vino, mas que dos tipos, es decir sin inventario. La intereaccion con Chef muy pobre, El Chef en modo " RUSH", como ya queriendo cerrar y muy limitado en cuanto al carisma requerido para que este tipo de experiencias funcionen. La verdad, mucho que desear en ese aspecto; y siendo el principal concepto del restaurante, hay mucho por trabjar ahi.

    El servicio estuvo excelente, el menú estuvo llevo de sorpresas de sabores, es comida fusión de Japonesa y Yucateca y se nota el cariño y determinación en cada platillo. Fuimos para nuestro aniversario quedamos encantados. El Chef nos explicó cada platillo con detalle y con una excelente atención siempre pendiente de nosotros.

    Serious FOMO when only ordering six rather than nine courses. This will be rectified during the next trip to JAYU.

    Nos encantó! La comida es deliciosa y la combinación de sabores súper única. Lo mejor de todo es que usan ingredientes de la región para dar ese toque especial al sabor de sus platillos. El servicio fue muy amable y atento. Nos encantó la experiencia de estar en la barra para poder disfrutar de la preparación de los platillos y sobretodo platicar con el chef. También se presta para conocer y platicar con otros comensales lo cual es muy agradable. Es nuestra segunda vez aquí y espero que no sea la última!
