   We had a lovely dinner! Nice round table enabled the 6 of to converse. We had nice cocktails before dinner and wine with dinner. All good!

   The restaurant was beautiful! But to be honest, for the look of the place and the menu prices, I was disappointed in the food. Portions were small, my $17 French Toast was only 2 pieces of bread and frozen berries. The pastry basket consisted of heated frozen items, not anything house made. The special waffle was the same as a diner waffle. My husband said the eggs benedict was fine, but not worth $20. Not sure we'll be back.

   Charcuterie plate was good but $32 was not worth it. The buffalo chicken dip was dry. Entrees were excellent. The salmon, strip steak, beef tip ravioli, and pork chops were all exceptional. I love love love the salmon. Drinks were great and the cranberry mocktail was also very enjoyable according to my daughter. Creme brûlée and brookie were enjoyed by all and the brûlée is a generous serving. Service was not having the best night as the waiter appeared distracted and a bit annoyed. But anyone can have an off night. I will say that we felt a bit left out when the manager did a table touch on every table around us and avoided our table. We were seated early for our reservation and the host was very nice. Overall, 4.5 stars but this close to the holiday I will give a 5.

   Due to various circumstances, we were unable to travel to New Orleans for Christmas as planned. We had both taken vacation time and paid the cat sitter… so we opted for a mini vacation in Buffalo. Our meal at Jazzboline made everything better. The cocktails were superb. The appetizers heat (try the deep fried lions mane.. I’ll be dreaming of that for weeks). Our entrees were very well done - his salmon was cooked perfectly and my vegetable gratin was delicious. Our waitstaff was attentive without being overbearing. We will be back!

    a "special ";was described by server as cioppino, but was not listed on electronic menu. What arrived was seafood drenched in thick tomato sauce rather than a stew or soup. Also, The fish in it was a big filet that was so dry and hard I could barely get it down. The server did offer me something else, which I was charged for and nothing else was offered. Server also strangely avoided our table before we even ordered and even walked away at one point when she briefly approached and a friend didn't stop speaking immediately. Overall, a bad experience.
