Situated on an historic Old Richmond Road Farm, we at Jean Farris strive to bring you the best experience Horse Country has to offer. Whether you’re looking to escape or gather, Jean Farris can provide your rustic, picturesque backdrop.
Established in 2003, this family run farm has consistently provided a deep sense of connection amongst wine lovers, horse lovers, and of course bourbon lovers alike. Rooted and deeply inspired in and by southern comfort cuisine, this truly farm to fork restaurant will give you the perfect canvas to explore your culinary palette.     Went for the Feast of Seven Fishes as a family for special Christmas experience. Very disappointed. Have never been to Jean Farris before but likely will not go back. Thankful for good dinner companions and great conversation.

    Sunday dinner with friends is always a pleasure at Jean Farris. It’s a delight to see the beef Bourguignon back on the menu as it is a perfect winter meal. All of our meals and drinks were very good. Thank you.

    We love to go to Jean Farris Winery and Bistro. And, Sunday evenings are especially nice. The atmosphere was calm and the food and drink were wonderful. It's our favorite dining establishment.

    We love dining at Jean Farris! The ambience is the best for a quiet dining evening. You can talk easily and hear others at your table without distractions. And the food and wine… always the best!!!

    Jean is wonderful and so attentive; we learned a lot about wine making. The charcuterie board paired so well their wines. I’m a fan and we’re coming back with friends next time. P.S. Be sure to have a reservation.

    Resident lamb guy here. Tonight I tried something different: Bourguignon. Oh my God is it amazing! The gravy is so good I had the owner remove the bowl so I wouldn’t be tempted to lick it clean. This comes highly recommended with a glass of Redhead.

    First impressions are important and ours was not so good. Upon arrival the first thing we noticed was that the entrance and front vineyard had not been maintained for quite some time. Vines were dead and the grass was high and unkept. We almost left but continued on. When we tried to go inside we found the doors were locked. Again we started to leave when someone came out and apologized for the door being locked and invited us in. The inside was nice and being the only people in the restaurant the service was very good. We did enjoy our meal, but did not have any wine as it was extremely overpriced given the facilities. Until the owners put the time and money into cleaning up the place I would not see myself ever going here again. Very disappointed.
