   We had a great experience at Jekyll Brewing. There were 4 of us and everything ordered was excellent. I had the fish & chips - a huge piece of flounder. I will say the fries were a bit soggy, I think because the fish was served on top of them. Next time I would scoot it over. Everyone else at the table ordered the steak, which I sampled and it was so good, very tender with a chimichurri sauce. We also ordered the crab dip, a baked oyster dish, and raw oysters. All the specialty cocktails we tried were also good. Great service and great space. Don’t miss the upstairs bar area with the Airstream trailer converted into a bar and large outdoor terrace with ocean views.

   We made a reservation and weee told upon arrival that the entire restaurant had been booked for a private party. Told by party attendees, not anyone that worked there. Went next door and had a wonderful dinner and were welcomed.

   Burgers were very good, service was outstanding, and beers were enjoyable but prices seemed higher than I would have expected, particularly on the beer. A flight of 4 (either 4 or 5 oz pours) cost $19!

   We had a great time upstairs. The patio was fantastic with views of the deck the chairs display.

   Amazing crab dip, and crab cakes with Great flavor. Condiments with oysters were frozen (cocktail and vinegar sauce) m, we advised the server of this and he said “that’s how they come”. House made liquors and hot sauce were delicious. Very loud environment, poor acoustics. There was a musical performance but couldn’t Hear it or our company at the table because of the noise level. I didn’t like that the reservation asks if you want patio or indoor but didn’t specify that the covered patio upstairs (which is what I interpreted as patio) was not available due to a large party reservation.

    We dined at Jekyll Brewing for our Mother’s Day lunch and it was wonderful. The food, the beers on tap and the service were impressive. There was a slight mistake with a few of the lunches and the manager came and spoke to us right away and took care of it. It was very quiet and we sat upstairs where the view is just incredible. My husband and I talked about going back, without our children this time, and exploring the menu and beer options further! I would definitely recommend.
