   SILLY ME. I ORDERED A BOWL OF CHICKEN SOUP TO START. IT'S NOT A BOWL, IT'S A TUREEN ! HAD TO DOWNSIZE THE REST OF MY ORDER, TO FIT IT IN ME. SO, INSTEAD OF THE SCALLOP ENTREE', I HAD THE APPETIZER. I PREFER THE SAUCE ON THE ENTREE'.

   My daughter has been wanting to go to Jen’s for awhile. I took her for her birthday. Appetizers were very good. Strawberry bruschetta and crab cakes. My husband had a generous bowl of chicken gnocchi which looked delish and he said it was. My SIL had shrimp gnocchi. Gnocchi good, shrimp overcooked. One g-son had penne alla vodka with chicken. Generously portioned and very good. Another g-son had the salmon. It had a sauce on top. The salmon looked like it was cooked well, but the sauce was too much. This is coming from a young person who prefers chicken tenders over anything though. My dtr had Jen’s Mixed Grill. She said all proteins were overcooked. I had Chicken Caprese. Chicken good. Mushroom risotto delish. Service was excellent. Drinks were average. The room is dated. Large amounts of carved wood and a large fireplace. It would have been nice to have the fireplace lit, if functioning. My dtr said the draw is the outdoor patio which this time of year can’t be considered a feature and a sad detraction if anything. I am usually the one to dislike a restaurant. This time my daughter said she did not know if she would go back. She is the foodie amongst us.

   Everything was excellent. Sea bass perfectly prepared. Scallops and mushroom risotto were delicious.

   It has been a while since I have been here. But it is great as always. I had a seat at the bar, Thayer the bartender was great. Plenty of entertainment too. I Leprechaun that was there was funny and enjoyable. The guy that played the bagpipe was also good. He was kind of loud, but still good all in all. Even the other patrons were funny and talked to me as I was there alone. THe Corn Beef & cabbage was I say plentiful & had to take some of it home. Drinks were good as always, & the Bread pudding was also a good treat. Thank you again!!

   My experience at Jen's Guesthouse was wonderful! If you haven't gone there when Ross Failla is singing, it is a must! I had a group of 6 that went for his show and we had the most amazing time! The beautiful music, people dancing, songs everyone knows, and the way everyone felt connected was such an incredible experience. The food was excellent, especially the whitefish, the chicken salad wrap, the salmon, and the cookie sundae. The servers Jen and Martha are the best! The owner Jen is so friendly. She decorates the restaurant so beautifully for each holiday. Besides tasty food and pleasant music, the decor enough will Wow you! Overall, I've never had anything less than an excellent time at Jen's. I highly recommend.

    THE FOOD AND SERVICE WERE OUTSTANDING, AS ALWAYS. MARTHA ALWAYS ANTICIPATES MY NEEDS. PER REQUEST, I WAS SEATED IN FRONT OF THE FIREPLACE. I ALWAYS HAVE THE SCALLOPS, AND ADD A LOBSTER TAIL. IT'S A GREAT WAY TO END THE WEEK.
