   We visited Jill after a campus visit to UC and were so charmed with the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff. The bartender, host, and server made us feel so welcome in Boulder. The coulotte steak, filet medallions, and abruzzi pizza were great, all tasty and cooked to perfection. Their Negroni Friuliano (made with Punt e Mes and Amaro Nonino, in addition to Campari and Gin) were perhaps the two nicest Negroni I have ever had ;)

   I have always heard great things about this place, but last night, April 5th, was my fiancé and I’s first time. Everything was perfect from the food to the service to the ambience. We had frozen espresso martinis that were fantastic and unique. The French onion soup was to die for, and the “handmade tots” were amazing and the most interesting interpretation of a tater tot that we have ever had. We then enjoyed the fungi pizza and the filet medallions. Both dishes were amazing and the attention to small details was way out them over the top. Confident that everything else on the menu is amazing as well. The place is also beautiful and perfect for date night. We will be returning 100%. Oh and the prices are actually fairly reasonable for how high the quality and experience is!

   The food was very good. I had the special, Arctic Char, and my husband had fig pizza. The waitress, Jennifer, was lovely, and just the right amount of attentiveness. I couldn't imagine a better waitress. The ambience is always lovely at the Jill's. We chose Jill's due to the lower noise level. Many of the downtown restaurants are way to noisy to chat with friends, but Jill's had a low to moderate noise level. They have the best expresso martini in Colorado!

   I have the cob type salad, their house salad with peas and bacon, bits, etc. It had a lot of dressing on it and the dressing was sort of blah and a creamy dressing. The onion soup was good and the chicken sandwich was good, but nothing was outstanding.

   I have been in the hospitality industry for 25 years. So I know when a restaurant has an off day and one's experience is an anomaly, I hope my experience yesterday was such. I have to say that yesterday's brunch was a real disappointment. Service was good, friendly and attentive. The food came to our table shortly after ordering. But the quality of the food unacceptable. Our 2 orders of Wild Mushroom omelet was nothing more than dark overcooked button mushrooms. We also had an order of corned beef hash which was so dark and unrecognizable I wanted him to send it back. He didn't want to say anything. I truly expected great things coming from such a beautiful hotel and dining room.....and I hope yesterday was in fact an anomaly.

   Menu is interesting and includes healthy offerings. Greeter and server were very pleasant. Nice surroundings.

   We were celebrating two birthdays. Our waitress was outstanding. She described the dishes and portion sizes. Our two birthday people were even given a dessert of their choice.

    Always a great experience, especially the Brussel sprouts, tater tots and salads. Loved our round table accommodate 8 people and those conversations. Fun to then migrate over to the lobby and sit by the fireplace!
