JJ’s Restaurant is a Vancouver institution. Both the kitchen and front of house are run by students who are in their 2nd level of cook training. Enjoy a three-course a la carte lunch which is reasonably priced and produced with the highest level of passion and care by students with the guidance of their Chef Instructors. If you are interested in a group booking please email culinaryarts@vcc.ca.

Please note that JJ’s and Chef’s Table service may be interrupted by inclement weather, including extreme heat or significant snowfalls. VCC makes this precaution to keep the staff and customers safe. Thank you in advance for your understanding.

Enjoy a gourmet five-course meal designed by Chef Hamid Salimian with optional selected wine pairings, served in a unique group setting with only 10 seats available per night. The Chef's Table dinners are run by students, led by award winning instructors in Vancouver Community College's International Culinary Arts Program. It is a restaurant is run by the Culinary Students, so mistakes can happen. My service was great, no mistakes, food was great specially the new banana brule dessert. it's affordable comparing to others places, considering you will have a 3 course meal with good ingredients. Totally worth it.

My wife and I have been customers for many years and can honestly say that we have never had anything but a very positive experience. We find the demeanour of the chefs in training, while waiting on table charming. Thank you and keep up the good work

Well worth going to just remember, this restaurant is for the students training. Service is sometimes slow but the food is well worth the wait. I would definitely go again.
