   Really nice spot in Nashville. Different than a lot of the other restaurants. Service is quite good and the food is pretty solid. The carrot cake is a miss since it's hard and cold, but other than that, a proper meal. Probably not an everyday place, but worth checking out!

   top Notch service with excellent foods. Selection for group was fantastic. Everyone was happy with their entire meal and again, the staff treats you like royalty. Cannot recommend highly enough.

   We thoroughly enjoyed our experience at Joe Muer. Alexis, our server, was attentive, knowledgeable, and very friendly. Seating was plush and comfortable, such a nice contrast in a city of restaurants that think that a hard wooden or wire spindle chair is perfectly acceptable for fine dining. We loved the Shrimp Illeane with plenty of garlic, lemon, and butter. I thought it was the perfect accompaniment to my Bourbon Dream cocktail. My husband really enjoyed the Halibut, and I had the Lobster Tail. Both entrées included both a vegetable and a starch. So, having to order more sides was not necessary. With the expense of eating out, I really appreciated that. The extra sides did sound delicious, though! Dessert was coconut cake and sticky toffee pudding. Both were good, not great. Coconut cake was a little dry, and the sticky toffee pudding needed something to break up the cloying sweetness; but, definitely not bad! Keep in mind, you can park in front of the restaurant (2 hours) or in the nearby parking garage...for free! That alone is an amazing bargain when the last time we went downtown, it was $38 to park! Joe Muer is our new favorite! Ask for Alexis if you go; she is a treasure!

   First class all the way! From the second we walked in until our last bite, we were treated like royalty. The food was so delicious. We had the lobster pot pie, Zuppa de pesce and the filet. We also treated ourselves to a shared Death by chocolate dessert. Our waitress (the somilier) was amazing. We loved the live music and appreciated it not being too loud so we could still chat.

   We love Joe Muer. Bacon wrapped shrimp are amazing as is the crab stuffed flounder. We really enjoyed the trio playing for NYE last night too!

   Our first time and it is an excellent restaurant. We attended on New Year’s Eve and were greeted with a free glass of champagne along with warm smiles. We were early for our reservation, and were welcomed to have a drink at the bar. Our waiter was nice and very knowledgeable with the food and drinks. He made sure we were properly served and our experience was top notch. The food was good. Between the four of us, we had seafood and steaks. All was very good. The steak filet was prepared perfectly. The seafood (lobster, crab, scallops, and sole) was great. One sirloin steak was a little over done. All of the side dishes were really good. And the oysters were terrific too. Desserts were awesome, and we tried four different desserts! (Have to celebrate on New Year’s Eve, right? Finally - our overall experience was terrific. We would definitely recommend this restaurant.

   Went here for NYE with my wife and another couple. Greeted with a flute of champagne and sat at the bar until our table was ready, had an old fashion and it was amazing! Next we were seated and I ordered oysters Rockefeller for an appetizer which was absolutely wonderful, Caesar salad next was delicious, and then I had a filet with scallops which nothing short of perfection. The wait staff and hostesses were knowledgeable, courteous and professional. The manager on duty was awesome also. For me and my wife and our friends we will be back!!!

    This was a disappointing experience all around. Service had some major flaws, including bringing our second course before the dirty dishes had been cleared. Also the gimmick of deboning the dover sole at the table too so long that by the time it was completed, my wife’s dish was cold. These are not normally dealbreakers, but at this price point you expect more from the staff. More importantly, the food was just meh, my Dover sole was absolutely drenched with butter sauce before I had a chance to stop it, and my wife’s sea bass, while beautifully presented, was equally bland. Perhaps our expectations were too high, but there are many other fine dining options in Nashville that are far superior. Not recommended.
