Joe’s Crab Shack offers a variety of favorites from all parts of the sea and shore. From its extensive menu, guests can choose from buckets of seasonal seafood, fried shrimp platters and fish dishes, as well as options from the “mainland” that include steak, sandwiches, and chicken. Guests can indulge in over-sized and creative cocktails, such as the Shark Bite which is playfully garnished with a shark toy. With various pieces of merchandise for purchase, including the ever-popular tie-dye T-shirt with the phrase “Peace, Love and Crabs,” Joe’s has become synonymous with the word “fun.”

Consistently good food & service was excellent (Jeremiah). Only downside was that we asked on open table for a quieter table in the quieter section of the restaurant and ended up in the main dining area. It was loud which makes conversations with dining companions hard.

We booked via Open Table and were seated pretty much immediately. I did ask to have the table near the window since it was open. Our server was pretty good, very friendly and prompt. I had the cajun boil with crab, mussels, shrimp, sausage, red potatoes, etc. The cajun sauce on the seafood was so-so but most annoying was that most all of our dinners (there were 6 of us) were cold. Used to love Joe's Crab Shack but not so much anymore
