   This was always a must stop on our trips to Ft. Myers. Was a good place for kids. Tonight we were seated on time for our reservation and our request of window seating was honored. Everything after being seated was awful. Server was quick to blame everyone but herself. Waited 20 mins for drinks. Didn’t bring two of our draft beers claiming we didn’t order them. Then the bartenders fault because she was also serving. Our food was sitting under the heat lamp so long the “blacked tilapia” melted to something unrecognizable. Another person was given the wrong boil missing her ordered crab, shrimp and sausage. The crabs were impossible to pick as they were over done. Crabs served with no butter, shrimp served with no cocktail. Even after requesting these items they never even arrived. Obviously requested the manager who “comped” the meals. Server never returned until we had to go seek manager for the checks. just an awful experience from the start, probably no way to service recover. Won’t be back.

   The location and view of the river are wonderful. We enjoyed sitting by the window. Our server was a bit scattered, forgetting some of our drinks, and not bringing to the table things we asked for until more than one reminder. The shrimp dishes were good, as were the vegetables. The mahi mahi was very dry. The steak was stringy. The mixed drinks were good although some did not seem to have much alcohol in them. The pricing was better than may local restaurants but perhaps that is why the food and service wasn't as good. We probably won't be going back to Joe's Crab Shack in the near future.

   We made a reservation for 5:30 but when we arrived they said they had a “hold on seating”. As there were many tables open, I think they were short servers. Went to the bar. Two bartenders - but they took 15 minutes to get our drinks. We had requested a table by the window but when they seated us ended up elsewhere - when we arrived there were plenty of window tables. Overall the food was very good and our table server was great and attentive.

   We had a party of four. We order and only one meal came out, after 20 mins the rest of the order was bought out. The waitress told me the manager would stop by the table, which he never did and the waitress never returned to do the check. I did go up to the manager and he told me that no one told him to go to our table. The food was okay, but the service was lacking.

   Just not worth the money. Find something fresher and local. service was outstanding. Lucian was was great.

   Service was extremely slow, sat at the table along time before even being greeted by our server. The restaurant was not busy at all so there was no excuses. We wouldn't see her for long stretch's throughout our evening. Food: the boils were enjoyed by the ones that ordered at our table. The flash fried crab legs were the worse thing I have ever had at a restaurant. The sampler platters that were ordered were way overcooked as well. Not a recommendation I would give for this location of Joes crab shack.

    Server was awful. Appetizer came out with dinner, not before. I ordered cold peel and eat shrimp and a lobster tail. Shrimp was not cleaned! Lobster tail was never served to me. I called manager over to complain and he apologized and said he was sending server home because he was making too many mistakes. Credited our apps and lobster tail I never received. Will not return.
