   Came in with my wife for anniversary dinner and totally ignored by staff, waited 20 mins, then got up and approached an employee to ask if we could get service. This person seemed surprised we were even there and then the lady that was working our section was pandering to the larger groups and seemingly everyone else but us. It took 40 mins for us to get our food after this. We don't know her name because she never gave it or had a name tag on. This experience made us wonder why we didn't just leave. My wife who was from Maryland had her heart set on a crabcake. She said it was full of more filler than crabmeat. For future reference, don't eat at Joe's crabshack if u want great service on the seawall in galveston, go to IHOP and ask for evonne, she was great. Do better joe

   Server didn't take order correctly Son asked for extra sauce but didn't get it. My order was not correct. When paying he threw my credit card at him. Rude waiter. We were respectful and didn't complain. However I had to ask other servers for water several times. Food was a little spicy

   The food portions for the price was unbelievable. And the waiters take the plates away when you’re still eating i don’t know if it’s to get you to order more. Starters that cost $20 is only a little bit of food. I wouldn’t recommend this location at least.

   My family ate dinner on August 30th, 2024. Since we left we have all been sick. I had to go to the walk in clinic today because I was dehydrated from getting so sick. What a complete disappointment. Our bill was almost $300.00 & now I have a $200.00 doctor bill on top of what made us all sick. NEVER AGAIN!

   Had a great time. Our server was amazing. He was very attentive and quick to fix when a meal was wrong. Food was delicious. Would stop by again!
