   We recently visited your restaurant with high expectations, excited to enjoy a family meal together. Unfortunately, our experience didn't quite meet our hopes, which I wanted to share constructively, hoping it can help enhance the service for future patrons. We initially faced challenges booking over the phone and turned to the OpenTable app, which smoothly handled our reservation for two tables. We requested that our tables be close together, given that we were dining with children, but were told that wasn't possible due to full bookings. We understood, yet it seemed there were opportunities during our visit to accommodate our request, as we noticed other guests successfully changing tables and empty tables nearby. Additionally, there was a mix-up with our order—we received an extra pizza and the modifications we asked for weren't as expected. It also appeared there was some confusion over simple requests, like the olive oil serving, which came in a plastic cup, not quite aligning with the charming ambiance of your Italian restaurant. Most importantly, we felt a disconnect in service as our basic needs, like water, weren't promptly attended to, and the interaction lacked the warmth we anticipated. It was out of character for us, but we chose not to leave a tip based on these experiences. We hope this feedback is helpful.    First time at Joe's (Almonte location), which has a lovely cave -like ambiance in the old mill. The only issue we experienced was that our meals (both daily specials) arrived luke warm and quickly became cold. We politely asked if they'd warm them up for us but we were refused, citing hygiene issues of cooking half-eaten food with new food. We've never been to a restaurant that refused to re-heat a meal that was insufficiently hot and we wouldn't expect them to reheat it with a freshly cooked meal, so the rationale doesn't really hold up, unless they only have one pan in the kitchen and/or never wash that one. It was a bizarre explanation. Taste-wise, the meals were very good but we would have enjoyed them more if they'd been hot. Our after dinner espresso was not really hot either.

   The Linda pizza is an absolute delight. Started with the Caesar salad, followed by the pizza and then added dessert. Everything was perfect.

   Joe’s is in a beautiful old stone mill with views to the Falls on the Mississippi River. The food ( Italian pinsa crust pizzas and caesar salad) was excellent. Service was friendly and efficient. My wife and I always look forward to lunches at Joe’s.

    Another great meal at Joe’s Italian kitchen. We enjoyed the traditional bruschetta, the soup was lovely and pinsa are always a delight. Service has been consistently good. Not enjoyed- the very icey slippery way down to the entrance a the icey slippery stairs/ramp to the entrance door itself. It is hazardous..be careful
