Although the service was great, the quality of some the pizzas was certainly not. We were a table of six and among us, three ordered two Sophia Lorens and one Joe Theismann gourmet pizza.. They were all overcooked, hence the one star rating for food quality. I will not be returning.

Lovely ambience. Very unique setting. The server took too long time to initially come to our table (15 mins). She told us of the specials. One of them was linguine in a garlic olive oil with shrimp. I ordered this and it was served with “spaghetti” (no mention of the substitute) and three mediocre sized shrimp. I did not get the taste of garlic at all and it was more or less sitting in a pool of olive oil. No Parmesan cheese was offered. I later asked for some to add flavour. Tax and tip it came to $36. I wouldn’t go again as it was disappointing to me.

Would have expected when a reservation is made we not have been seated next to the entrance when the heat of ovens radiating. Next time I will specifically ask for seating in the back.

We had a great time at Joe’s! It was our first time here, and we loved every minute of it. The food was amazing (we had traditional bruschetta, Marguerita and Rosalia pinsas, and the cannoli for dessert) and the drinks were great, too! Our server, Sarah, was so friendly and kept us topped up with fresh water and drinks. The food came out very quickly, and they didn’t rush us through our meal. We sat indoors next to the door leading to the patio, so we had a great view of the waterfall. It was such a great meal, we will absolutely be back!

Anything I've ever had at Joe's has been delicious, but this time I chose a Pinsa and was very pleased. The helping was generous, and since I wanted room for the Affogato, I brought half home for lunch the next day. It was just as good once it was reheated in the toaster oven. Their Affogato was perfect! Vanilla gelato with espresso coffee poured over - what a treat! It does not need chocolate to make it better, or different varieties of ice cream - it is perfection just as it is in all its classic glory. Love the location - just hovering over the falls. We didn't get a table on the deck overlooking the falls, but the atmosphere and ambience were lovely inside as well. One quibble - it took a while for the wait staff to take our order, and we needed to call them over to make that happen, but once the order was in, the drinks and food appeared in a timely fashion. Definitely worth the drive to Almonte. And the effort to make a reservation, even on a Friday lunchtime in summer. It was still crowded when we got there at 1:45.

First experience here with a group of girlfriends and won’t be our last experience!! Sitting facing the falls was spectacular. Staff was great, relaxing and fun atmosphere. Only thing that ai would change, is to make sure the water at tables is good and cold throughout the meal.
