Joe's Original, formerly Not Your Average Joe's -Dartmouth features a casual, made - from scratch menu served in a restaurant and bar that offers guests a place to gather with family and friends.     Unfortunately we were told by our waitress that they were shorthanded in the kitchen on this particular evening. The service was fine. The food was good. We were seated at 5:30 pm and our entrees were set down in front of us at 6:30 pm. I really wouldn't have cared but we were seated next to a family with a crying baby. It makes for a long night.

    My fiancé and I had a great experience! Our server, Nariah, was wonderful and super friendly! We tried a couple of the specials, one of the starters and an entree and they were awesome! We have been happy with our experience every time we’ve gone! can’t wait for our next visit!

    You can always count on Joe’s for consistently great food and atmosphere. It was all about the Mustard Crusted BLT and the Stroganoff this trip. The food was delicious and our server was awesome!

    We love Joe’s, however at 4:00 pm last Sunday it was packed, noisy and the service was very slow. My husband ordered a large beer and was given the smaller amount. We didn’t complain. My super crunch salad, that 2 weeks ago was incredible, tasted bad ( bad fruit?) and was not crunchy. The chicken dumplings were burnt on the outside but tasty on the inside. My son and husband had spaghetti and meatballs. The meatballs were good but the pasta was overcooked. Not a good meal for the money. But we will return, because normally their food and service is terrific.

    I always love the food at Joe's but our waitress, Amber, brought our experience to a new level. She went over and above to check on us and ask if we needed anything. She was very friendly and interacted with my special needs son

    My friends my husband and I all enjoyed our meals, plus we had a great booth! Our server let us know she was a college student, was very pleasant but she presented us with the wrong bill, came back few minutes later to apologize that wasn’t the amount…..she had given us someone else’s!

    Another outstanding dining experience at Joes Original who accommodated us when out of town guests joined us unexpectedly. Food was 5 star, our waitress Camry was attentive and on point. Always a great time at Joes Original!!
