   First time going to Joey Bellevue, and we really enjoyed our time! For a Sunday night, the restaurant was energetic, food was delicious, and Armani, our server, was the best. Will definitely be coming back again in the future!

   Food took a long time and wasn’t very good. Iced tea had a weird taste and service was very slow.

   I have to start off that over all we had a pleasant experience although it started off not. We walked into the restaurant just a few minutes before our reservation. The two hostess were not attentive at all to who was walking in and out of the restaurant. My husband and I stood for a good few minutes until one of them lifted their heads and asked me for me name. No “hello” no “welcome” but I got a “what’s your name”. The two were just talking among themselves (both in green jackets) as we walked in and continued after I told her I had a 7:45 reservation. All I got was a “you will need to wait”. My husband already not being happy with the service as soon we walked into the restaurant got worse when we stood waiting for over 25 minutes past our reservation time!!! I was hungry but my husband was just ready to leave already. Others got seated while we stood waiting and no one even came to tell us how long or apologize. Then right as I was going to go ask the hostess why it’s been over 25 minutes someone came and brought us to our table. One server came dropped off water and left as my husband was trying to order a drink. But soon after Shelby (who said she was the manager on our seating section) came and honestly saved the day. I think you could see that we were both already frustrated with our experience. This is the first time for us both at the joeys in Bellevue. We usually go to the tukwilla one and we have had amazing service each and every time! We ended up ordering a mocktail for me, mineral water, chicken lettuce wraps (AMAZING), the salmon sushi, tuna poke bowl, joeys burger and the crème brûlée cheesecake. The dessert was honestly ok (all I really tasted was burnt sugar). The food though was delicious! The speed of the service was great. Music and atmosphere was great as well! Bathrooms were clean (that’s a big one for me). As we were leaving the hostess again did not even lift her head or say anything. To me that sets the tone when you have an attentive host

   We dined here for New Year's Eve. The food was amazing. I tried a slushy and it was quite bitter. Our server took it back and brought me a lemon drop. So good! We appreciated the replacement.

   Joey offers a solid menu and good service. They are open more lunch-times than other Bellevue restaurants and their Happy Hour is solid, too. I'm a fan of the Sushi Cone and Yellowfin Tuna salad, but my favorite Joey experience is a sitting outside on a sunny day for lunch with a good friend and sipping a nice Sauv Blanc. The comped sparkling wine is a generous start. A great Bellevue go to.

    Food and service is great. Prices are a little higher than the $$ rating Open Table gave it, but worth it. Steak and Sushi is my go-to, but really anything you get will most likely be good. I recommend the espresso martini for dessert.
