   Went for a bday dinner to celebrate my son’s 14 bday. Hostess and server even asked us whose bday it is. All other tables got a bday desert with a candle but for some reason we did not. We were very disappointed and not impressed. Sadly enough difficult to explain the discrimination to my son.

   Our meals were excellent and so was the service. We had the mushroom appetizer and it was delicious-also a great selection of wines by the glass. Thank you.

   I have always had a great experience here, but this time, not so much. Had a reservation for 7, by 7:11 still not seated; asked the hostess; they somehow missed us. Not sure how you can when you've got our name on a digital tablet that you never stop looking at. Next, seated and ordered drinks-all good. Got our drinks in timely manner. Ordered our food. Told we would get water. Water never came. Food came out by chef, not server- in and out so fast I could not ask for water. Kept seeing servers flying by our tables, our server NEVER came back to check on us. I finished my meal trying to flag someone by the whole time as I was thirsty, but people were so fast going by the table I was not able. Finally had to approach someone at a water station and ask for water. Ridiculous. Server finally came after my husband had finished his drink; he would have enjoyed having another during dinner, but since no one ever checked on us, he was unable. She asks if he would like a drink after he's done his meal- no he does not. She seems stunned that my plate has been cleared (by someone else) as she never checked in. Would we like dessert? Ok, sure. We decide what we want...and wait. 8:06 we decide what we want, by 8:36 we are done the dessert and now waiting for the bill. And waiting. I flag down someone else to get us our bill. Really not great service at all. Food was great. Please do better next time.

   It was amazing every single staff that came to our table was excellent Jill was our server she was simply amazing attention to detail all I have to say is that will be back😘

   Herb crush salmon can never go wrong. The ambiance and service was pleasant. Our server was also so friendly and made sure our drinks and food gets served in a timely manner.

   Always love Joeys Shipyards, such a beautiful space, with a view of patio with fire on, so nice! Service was amazing, our server was so lovely and friendly and really went beyond expectations!

    Joey's is awesome at creating a wonderful first impression, and extending that energy through the whole experience. I've enjoyed the Burnaby and Shipyards locations whether chilling with a friend or on a date. Nicely done!
