   Love this place as always. Sunset was amazing. Food delicious. Service was the worst I have experienced. Noise was too loud (it was the music playing).

   For starters, the hosts gave our table to someone else. When we arrived they said to us “two of your guests are already at the table” this was impossible as our parents were parking the car when my sister and I arrived. We then had to sit at a high top squished with not enough room. We were also bit late to our reso but we called the restaurant 4 times and no one picked up her phone. Once we sat down the server did not hit they 30 second greet. He then took over five minutes to get us water. At that point we had to order our drinks and food at the same time because we didn’t want to risk having to wait for him to come back. He was friendly and nice but not very efficient, he lacked a sense of urgency. Our starters then took over 10 minutes to come and were just luke warm. He did quality check our food. He also seemed to pick up the pace more at the end of our experience. We did however have to dump our dirty plates on the table beside us since he didn’t clear them and we didn’t have enough room when our mains came. I personally found this experience very disappointing, I actually work for head office at Earls and I have worked in ops as a server and bartender for over 15 years and I know what type of standard our restaurants and our sister restaurants should be upholding and this was not up to standards.

   We had a really great server, who took the time to make sure that dinner was nice for everyone in our group, including my 84 year old mother.

   Place is vibrant and fancy, stunning ocean view, delicious cocktails (especially margaritas) however some food does not taste good (tuna poke bowl leaves much to be desired), steaks are too well done. Reception service is just a disaster, but waitresses are always nice, friendly and helpful. Overall it’s a nice place for dining out.

   Blacked chicken was very delicious but Bombay butter chicken was too sweet not up to mark.

   Considering how busy you were, the service was perfect. We always are satisfied with the food. Last night was no exception along with an excellent server. Needless to say we will be back again and again…….. Jim and Donna Smith

   We recently celebrated my friend’s birthday at JOEY Shipyard, and Taylor, our server, made the experience absolutely wonderful! She was attentive, friendly, and made sure everything went smoothly. Taylor’s positive energy and excellent service truly added to our celebration. We hope to see her again the next time we visit! Thank you for making our special day even better, Taylor!

    We enjoy Joey's Shipyards! It's our usual stop when in the city, good good, great service, amazing views.
