   This was our second time to Joey Uptown and it was as good as I remember. We loved receiving the complimentary champagne upon waiting for our table. The food was great and the drinks. Everybody helped us, as in, we didn't just have to wait for our server to be helped. I can't wait to bring everyone I know here.

   Food was good. Portion size is as expected with any fine dining experience. Took my daughter and 8 friends here for her 13th Birthday. The menu is vast enough to accommodate people who want different things. Would definitely return.

My wife walked away feeling cherished, special, and deeply loved. Our waitress Lauren & all the staff at Joey’s absolutely crushed it last night—mission accomplished. the night was pure magic. After a special request to honor my wife and our love, she orchestrated every detail with impeccable discretion, warmth, and class. Lauren, went above and beyond to make the night unforgettable. Her service wasn’t just attentive; it was next-level. After being seated, The evening started with a beautiful souvenir bouquet complete with a handwritten note that looked more like an artist’s masterpiece than a simple gesture. And then came the espresso martinis, custom-made with chocolate syrup and dusted with crushed Reese’s candies—a perfect, indulgent touch before we even ordered. The food, it was equally outstanding. The hummus appetizer set the stage, and the surf & turf? An absolute masterpiece—flawlessly executed and bursting with flavor. the vibe was cool and classy and even tho we didn’t roll up in one of the Maybachs, Lamborghinis, and Rolls-Royces, parked out front we were treated like celebrities most of all this will be a topic for conversation for years to come Great Thanks to Lauren & all of the staff at Joey’s Houston Galleria

   The blacken chicken with mash potatoes and broccolini was amazing! Seasoned well and great portion size. The passion fruit margarita was good as well.

   This was so nice. I love when you can see into the kitchens while they cook. The food was great, drinks were good. Vibe was nice and they do have valet service outside. It was clean, good for date night, girls night or something more professional. I will be back. Loved the wings and French dip appetizer

    Joey uptown is my favourite place in the galleria area. I always when I am in Houston, I dine there. However yesterday, I had not a very good experience. I am intolerant to egg and dairy and as well allergic to crustacean. I informed the server as I always do and I ordered tuna bowl. And again I emphasise the importance of telling the Cheff as it may have some hidden sauce in the bowl. When my food arrived, I started eating it and I noticed a sauce similar to mayo which I was shocked to see… I called the server and I asked him if it was mayo, he said definitely not, but I asked him to check anyways because it seems mayo for me. He returned and confirmed that there was mayo. I was upset with it as this is a serious situation which could turn to worse for me. I told him that I was not happy and he should take this kind of information very seriously as this is healthy issue. I am not sure if he understood the seriousness of the situation, But I didn’t call the manager, which now I regret and that’s why I am writing this review. I would like to request that in the menu, all the allergens are listed, so we can always get inform the servers what we can not have. This could avoid confusion, also, the staff needs to understand how serious those things are and take the precautions needed to avoid compromising the customers healthy.
