    We made a booking for Saturday lunch a week ahead and it was a great experience overall. They have a seasonal menu written up on the chalk board with a great selection. We opted for the recommended 4x dishes to share between two. The beef tartare and pasta were delicious but be warned that the wild mushroom risotto is VERY salty. We let the waiters know and they were very kind to send it back to the kitchen but unfortunately the new one was also incredibly salty. Despite this, we had a very pleasant meal at Jolene and would thoroughly recommend.

    Food was unbelievably good, expensive but you pay for quality - when Italian food is done well there's none better. However the wine I felt was way too expensive, the cheapest house wine was £50 a bottle and tasted like a poor quality supermarket wine, shame when Italian wine is so good.

    I wish I lived around the corner from Jolene. Simple food well presented with very good flavours. Excellent service professional with a smile. Would prefer a few "non-natural" wines but pointed in the direction of rather not quite so obviously "natural" wines on their list which had a fair selection by the glass and carafe.

    Another absolutely lovely evening at Jolene! So pleased to live near this gem of a spot in Newington Green. Thank you to the the charming staff for welcoming us as regulars every time we visit (even if it's been ages). Can't wait to return!
