    A beautiful ambiance greets the guests to Josephine. We were escorted to he second floor where soaring coffered ceilings, wood paneling and comfortable seating greeted us. Our waitress provided clear information on the food as we inquired about several of the offerings. The cod croquettes were an excellent first course; my duck cassoulet was excellent, full of rich flavors. Though my wife chose an appetizer for her entree - onion soup - it was very satisfying on a cold cold evening. Dessert - creme brulée - was excellent - creamy with just the right amount of crystallized sugar. The complementary dessert offered by the house consisted of four tasty macaroons. Highly recommend!

    Superb dining experience with excellent input from the wait staff. Dined at lunch on a Federal holiday so the number of customers was unusually small -- on the other hand, it was quiet and made for easy conversation. The soup (French onion) and sandwich combo was a real bargain. This was my fourth time, including both lunch and dinner. so Josephine is clearly a favorite desintation.

    Wonderful atmosphere reminiscent of a Parisian cafe. Atrium space I so airy and beautiful. The food was superb and seasoned well. Keep room for some dessert! That opera cake is no joke and not overly sweet.

    Overall our dining experience was not what we had hoped for. Squeezed into a back corner up against a cold drafty wall with fake flowers on my hair. Food was good for those who ordered seafood. Steaks were over seasoned and no steak sauce was available. Went for a birthday celebration, and no recognition despite us noting it on why we were booking there. For the price we paid, I’d definitely go back to Chez Francois who do a much better job, solid food, friendly staff who take time to acknowledge those special occasions.

    This was my first time going to Josephine. The ambience was very good as well as the food. Our server, Jay C, was excellent, and I thoroughly enjoyed my time. His positive energy and knowledge of the menu contributed to an outstanding dining experience. I was celebrating a special occasion, and he pulled out all the stops to make it memorable. I will definitely be back.
