The Story of Josephine’s
The story of Josephine’s begins during our executive chef Daniel LeBoon’s childhood. At eight years old, working for his father’s catering company, Daniel discovered a passion for food. This love — and undeniable talent — saw him intern at Philadelphia’s prestigious Le Bec-Fin. He went on to work in Paris at the venerable Hotel Vernet working under the renowned chef’s Alain Solvere and Alain Ducasse. In 2004, Daniel purchased Josephine’s in Marietta and developed an extremely loyal following based on the combination of great food, great atmosphere and great hospitality. Although Josephine’s closed in 2011, the name and the experiences are fondly remembered by countless people.

    Great solo dining experience. My waiter Brandon was fun and energetic. Gave great recommendations on what to try for my 1st time at the restaurant. I decided to order Josephine’s 8oz filet with a glass of wine. Food was delicious. Customer service from all staff members were great. Nice ambiance (IG picture worthy)

    We go to Josephines for special events, and last night we went for a belated Thanksgiving dinner. As always, the food, service, and ambience were top notch. The four of us had, among other things, oysters, scallops, tuna, lamb. We loved every bite, and appreciated our server’s thoughtful wine advice. All in all a 10 out of 10. Of course we’ll be back!

    We had absolutely amazing experience. Josephine’s is my personal favorite in the downtown area, especially at Christmas. We invited friends for a first time. From drinks to appetizers to entrees to dessert, everything was delicious! Our server was excellent and extremely knowledgeable of the menu and the ambiance was top notch with Christmas music being played on the piano and bass throughout our meal.

    As usual, all of our dining experiences have been outstanding at Josephine's and last evening was no exception . The decor is warm and lovely at any time of year , but especially so during the holiday season. The two gentlemen who play the grand piano and standing bass after 7 p.m. are an added bonus to the ambiance. To be honest, if one does the full dining experience with multiple courses as well as a cocktail or two and/or a glass or bottle of wine, it might very well be too expensive for the budget conscious but it is certainly worthy of splurging for the occasional celebration of some type including, but not limited to, birthdays and anniversaries. Our server, Brandon , was only 2 days out of training , but he performed his duties well . He was both personable and professional. The entire staff is always welcoming and affable. We look forward to many more celebratory dinners at Josephine's in the future.

    The food was amazing. Scott was our server. He was extremely attentive and made the whole experience great. I would definitely recommend Josephine’s for a special occasion. They really go the extra mile to make you feel special and appreciated.

    Celebrated our 44th anniversary with our first visit to Josephine’s. Heard great things about it and we were not disappointed at all! Food was great, service was excellent, and the atmosphere was just right. Our waiter (Hunter) made the whole experience a great one. And the special menu insert was a very classy touch!!

    Wonderful dinner! They do the small things that make a difference. This is the place to go for a very special occasion. Wait staff was beyond compare.
