Great views and servide with tatty brunch items. Garage parking, however, is not driver friendly. Spent too much time driving around to find a pay station.

Waiter needs to improve his customer interactions. Not very friendly or helpful. As soon as music (live) started @ 11 am it was almost impossible to carry-on a conversation as it was so loud. We commented to waiter who indicated there was nothing he could do. We left shortly thereafter since it became almost impossible to have a conversation without shouting. We also commented to the hostess staff on our way out but they seemed totally disinterested/indifferent to our complaint.

Calling the noise level energetic is one way to refer to the noise level - another way would be had to either not talk or talk above the noise level to be heard. We will not be going back to eat indoors here, - outdoors maybe. Focaccia was not very good, they should not be charging for it it that is the best they can do. Wine list was interesting, but it went from a couple at very reasonable rate to $80 and above in a hurry. I would probably improve the list to have a variety in a number of price levels. On the good side, they were speedy on food and the service was fantastic.

So the PROs, beautiful scenery, great wait staff, it is a beautiful restaurant, and the drinks were very good. Also, if you come on a weekend, not sure if it’s the same during the week you can park in the garage and it’s only five dollars, which is unheard of, and I am so appreciative for it. The CONs so to speak, it was so noisy in there our waiter was standing by our table and we still could not hear her, which is a lot. It’s not like screaming, but there’s so many people talking and it radiates not when you first walk in, but once you turn a corner, you hear it all. I got the chicken and waffles. The chicken is very unseasoned. I mean, I don’t even think I saw pepper flakes and I mean I need chicken to have flavor and not be bland fried. I did not like that I would never order that again. It was cooked well a nice crust, but there was no flavor to it so I wouldn’t order that again. My friend had the chicken, biscuit and gravy, and she said it was all flavorful so that means some dishes have great flavoring and some do not. I had a rosé lemonade, amazing beautiful my friend had The give me some rum. I think that’s what it’s called and she loved it. She ordered too. It is scenically beautiful, but I am a girly who loves good food and this was not it. Would I come back for drinks and appetizers yes and my skeptical about choosing food yes, but the staff was amazing and it looked like a lot of other dishes may have been better so I would give it a try, but I am skeptical. Overall, a good experience.

My husband and I went with another couple. We parked in the building. On the weekend, it is $5. The restaurant does not validate. We took the elevator to the fourth floor and entered the restaurant. We were greeted when we walked in, shared our reservation details and although the place was fairly busy, we didn't have to wait long to be seated. We were initially placed in a booth against the far wall but requested to be moved to a table for four. We were quickly accommodated and given a table overlooking the spectacular view of the Potomac. Our server, Q, was lively, engaging and had wonderful customer service skills. He really took care of us. I ordered breakfast--eggs, bacon, biscuits. Hubby had bread pudding french toast and sausage. Our friends had chicken and waffles, and an omelette with sausage. The presentation was beautiful, the portions plentiful, and everyone agreed that our food was very tasty. We enjoyed ourselves so much, we stayed three hours. The only caveat is the food prices. Hubby and I spent $33 each but in terms of competitive pricing, that's not a bad price for brunch. I'm picking about food, service, and ambiance, and I recommend Jula's. We look forward to dining there again.

Always good food and generous proportions. Creative menu items and drinks. Sound level is very high, making it difficult to talk to other guests, not right next to you, at the table. Service was good, but she seemed to be to have too many tables-had to ask for coffee refill, salt & pepper, etc. Will go back again because it is close-by, and food is good, but not with our large family group. Too much noise to visit.
