The inside has a costal chic vibe but the outdoor seating on the intercostal is a must when dining here. We went for an early dinner as the sun was setting and enjoyed watching the boats pass by during dinner. Server was friendly but we were never presented with specials. Once we overheard a different server at the table behind us offering the specials it was too late as we had already ordered- though we would have loved to try the seabass filet. The juniper martini to start was refreshing and light. We shared oysters and a tuna tower which were great. My husband had the seafood pasta which was good but nothing amazing. I had the short rib entree which was very good. For dessert we shared a bread pudding which was delish. I had an espresso martini for dessert which was creamier than anticipated and while they have a full bar they did not have ingredients (liquor 43) for a carajillo, so my husband had sambuca which came with a great presentation. Valet parking only at the restaurant, but very reasonable at $10. Overall great experience with a beautiful view

I made a reservation several days in advance of going to Juniper On The Water for my husband and myself based on the waterfront location and good reviews of the food. When we arrived at the restaurant we were told that the outdoor waterfront seating was on a first come first serve basis and that the wait would be 25-30 minutes. The interior of the restaurant was empty. I told the hostess that there was no mention of this when I made the reservation. She was very curt and told us that it’s their policy. She asked us if we wanted to sit inside near the windows and we said yes because we were very hungry and didn’t want to wait for an outdoor table. She then tried to seat us right behind the door leading outside. We asked to not be seated in the busy walkway. We found a table that we liked and were finally seated. As soon as we sat down, two groups of 6-8 people were seated outside. It was a very disappointing experience. On the positive side, the waitress was lovely and we had a good meal for a reasonable price. It would have been a much better experience if they would have just put a notice that the outdoor seating was first come first serve. We wouldn’t have waited to go to dinner for our reservation.

The place wasn’t bad. The food was mediocre we had calamari with the surf and turf and a seafood pasta special. Service was slow and the restaurant wasn’t full.

Horrible experience for our group. Made a reservation ahead of time and requested waterfront. Arrived and were taken to an inside table. When asking about the request I made, they said too bad as outdoor was first come, first serve and can’t be reserved yet it doesn’t state that online. Waited 30 minutes to order drinks. Drinks were horrible. Waited another 15 minutes to get drinks and order appetizers. Appetizers took AN HOUR AND TEN MINUTES to come out!! 2 apps and a salad!! Food then took another 50 minutes to come out. The food was meh, but not worth the wait or the cost whatsoever. This is a mediocre hotel restaurant being disguised as a fancy dining experience. The ONLY food worth the price was the mac n cheese which was delicious. The rest was awful. Worst dining experience I’ve ever had on a vacation, hands down.

We visited with our daughters after reading reviews and it definitely did not disappoint. The food was excellent and the service was amazing. The staff was very busy yet still attentive to all our needs. The only negative was it did get a little loud when the live music began to play, but we were almost done by then so it didn’t hinder our dinner by much. Would highly recommend!

This is one of our favorite places. Great view and food. Caitlin our sever was so attentive and provided excellent service. I had the three course special and the sea food pasta was so good. The calamari has a really good sauce so I recommend it.

Wonderful location for our future son in law to propose to our daughter. Staff was excellent helping coordinate a champagne toast with the proposal. Our waitress cried, so sweet. Wonderful interactions with multiple staff who were all wonderful. What a special place. And the food was excellent, too!
