   The food was absolutely delicious and to die for. We were pretty tired of eating fish on the island and we heard that the lamb and beef are great here. This is true!! The food was so good and the service is amazing, our waiter gave great recommendations. The steak and lamb were amazing. Amazing views at this restaurant as well, we saw the tail end of the sunset and it was so nice.

   Even for the Island is was insanely expensive. The food is fine but not worth even half what they charge. The service is nice but what I’d expert at an Applebys not a $100/person restaurant. Total lack of professionalism. Too bad because the setting is really quite stunning.

   The view was beautiful. We were excited for dinner but sadly the food and service didn’t match the view and atmosphere. We got the catch of the day which came out lukewarm. The portion was perfect and tasted good but wasn’t worth the $78-80 dollars for the meal. We were celebrating our elopement and I had made note in the reservation. Not once did anyone acknowledge our special occasion.

   I was really hoping to love this restaurant. It was nearly impossible to make a reservation, and I gladly took the only available spot. When we arrived, the restaurant was half-empty at 7:30 p.m. [It was already dark, so for those willing to pay $$$$ for the view, it’s pitch black at this hour]. We waited at our table for over 20 minutes for the waiter to acknowledge us. Not what you’d expect at this caliber restaurant. The waiter was really nice, but I am not sure why at these prices (e.g., $97 for a 7.0 oz fillet mignon) they were short-staffed. They also ran out of bread by the time we started placing our order. The food was good though nothing special w relatively small portions. If the sunset / ocean view is what you’re after, this is a great spot or … try lava lava right down the street.

    Disappointing experience dining here for New Year's Eve. $200 set menu for average food and missing items. Told at ordering one of the dessert options was not available so we'd all have to have the remaining option. Goats cheese salad was served without the goats cheese -- when we enquired about this we were told they had run out of cheese. This was not advised before ordering otherwise we would have ordered something else. Remaining food was fine but mediocre for the price. Management provided a small refund to compensate but overall we wished we'd avoided this establishment in the first place.
