   Always a great time with really good food and excellent service. Everyone takes the time to acknowledge you and make you feel welcomed. The soups, the Pisco Sour and every dish we ordered was delicious and beautifully presented. Definitely an asset to Metropolitan Ave for fine dining in Forest Hills.

   I love this restaurant, it’s a great addition to the neighborhood. The food is so flavorful and I have enjoyed every meal I’ve had here so far. The staff are attentive and welcoming. They recently expanded and they have more room now, which is great. I highly recommend this restaurant, you won’t regret dining here.

   Solid 4 stars for Kantu Peruvian. This spot pulls off feeling fresh and modern, yet homey and warm at the same time. The colorful, well-thought-out decor could almost feel upscale, while the vibe, staff and menu are relaxed and familiar. On all visits we found the staff on point; attentive, friendly, knowledgeable, but no pressure. We saw lots of families at large tables, clearly having a great time. All menu items are prepared with care, fresh and delicious. Prices are reasonable - without drinks $40pp within reach. We love and enjoy their sangria, Pisco sours and other signature cocktails. There are drink specials and happy hour deals so if you're on a budget, suggest looking into them. Have had no issues finding free parking on the street. Recommend!

   Close to perfect… a group of us were able to get a nice table, last minute, at Kantu after friends recommended it. The clean decor pulls off a modern and welcoming feel, but it was the attentive staff, great food and drinks that left us feeling like we need to go back. We shared empanadas and tostones, then enjoyed quality ceviche or fish soup - all yummy. A few rounds of pisco sours and sangria brought the tab to $90pp but without alcohol prices are reasonable for the fresh, high quality seafood we enjoyed. Recommend

   Kantu is a very comfortable place to have dinner. I went with my kids and we were treated with kindness from the staff. The drinks are amazing and the food is out of this world. I have eaten in many Peruvian restaurants around queens, including pío pío, but kantu has become my number 1 spot to eat Peruvian food. And let’s not talk about their weekend menu 🤤

   We didn’t know that the lunch special was not offered on holidays so we were unprepared for such a high bill . They should have it listed on their page so as to not catch customers off guard, but everything else was great

    What a wonderful place! Had a lovely dinner there with my husband last week. The food and drinks were delicious. My favorite was the marinated skirt stake. They have an extensive wine list and an expansive bar with fun drinks. Desert was excellent. The restaurant is beautiful with a lot of natural light from their beautiful skylight. Jasmine and the staff were great and create a warm and inviting atmosphere.
