It was my birthday celebration dinner. I had high hopes and was let down. I have ate at many steakhouses and never had my steak come out warm. I asked them to remake it and they came back with the same steak, if not even colder than the first time. They stated they could not give us a new steak. It took a lot of arguing just to get the steak taking off our bill. Very disappointed in this establishment, never again, nor recommend coming to this restaurant!

I had one of the best experiences in Karma! I loved the nest experience and the service?? Top notch!! Special shout out to Daniel and Carlos for making this the absolute best! You got two of the best workers!

The food was absolutely amazing!! The staff treated my family and I like celebrities and the music was good. The only downside is we opted for seating in the nest initially, but there was a lot of mosquitoes and it was extremely hot. But we were able to move our table to a lower level and the aesthetics were just as nice. Highly recommended

A las carnes les faltaba sal. El postre de churros es una broma, no lo pediría de nuevo. La música está demasiado fuerte. Es demasiado obscuro y hay muchos escalones, es fácil tropezarse. La atención es excelente.

First time to Karma so I read a few reviews. I didn’t know what the Nest experience was but it sounded desirable. Our time there was great. The Nest had a unique feel and wonderful jungle views while dining. The service and food was on point. Wish the wine list was more extensive to pair with their wonderful steaks. That’s about the only thing that wasn’t perfect.

Overall service was below average. Out of every dining experience in Tulum this was by far the worst. Our reservation was made for 9:30pm for the Nest area, we arrived within the 9:30pm-9:45pm window (there is a 15 min grace period), they did not allow us to sit in the area we reserved because they closed the upstairs at 10pm. This information was not on the website nor on open table or any other platform. The host said if we had arrived at 9:30pm we would have been able to sit upstairs. There were however tables still sitting up there dining. I questioned that because even if we had arrived at 9:30pm on the dot we would still be up there past 10pm. I asked for a manager and she said he went home (a LIE). The host was not understanding or apologetic. She later told us we could dine upstairs for a minimum spend of $105 USD per person (again none of this is written anywhere it seemed made up). Then we were told to chose a table in the main dining area outside where the DJ continued to play the same song in 3 different remixes, it was alright music, loud (I did not mind the noise level). The waiter seemed like he wanted to go home. He took our drink order, then 20mins later took our food order, food came out in a decent amount of time. The food was very good. We were celebrating a birthday and 2 graduations so naturally we wanted to do dessert with sparklers etc. It is 11:04pm at this time, I ask him for a crème brûlée to sing happy birthday and he said the kitchen is closed. I was very upset and frustrated, we got NO WARNING that the kitchen was going to close. We ended up doing shots and getting sparklers. It did not seem like the staff wanted to work, they were very rude and inattentive. I would not recommend this place nor will I frequent it in my future trips to Tulum.

What an absolute nightmare of an experience for dinner. We ordered 2 medium rare fillet mignon and got a medium well. The worst part about this is they were gaslighting me. The server basically is saying we ordered medium well when we repeatedly said medium rare, rare as in bloody. He acknowledged when he left our table. The Supervisor came few mins later, neither he or the server apologized and said they are correcting it. We were appreciative of it, still. Our plates returned, my bf’s meat got corrected, they served me the same meat literally the same meat that I cut in the middle to check how done it was sent that I sent back. I told the supervisor that it is the same meat I returned earlier. Instead of checking it with the kitchen, he bascially told me he could guarantee they replaced it. The worse part about is he’s almost trying to hush me out. The same meat I cut earlier, all he had to do is look at it meat, it was the same medium well meat which at that point because it rested, it’s alreasy well done. This is almost 2 hours in of sitting still without thr mean course. They tried to correct it, still no acknowledgement of what was wrong, or even apologized about it, my plate finally made it with a new steak that was poorly executed, they did my bf’s steak replacement right. I ate fee slices abd just could not eat my meal anymore as the steak was terrible and I’ve also lost my appetite. Grilled Octopus was great, drinks we had was meh. 1 Star for the

Definitely over priced and over rated. They make you pay just for the view. The inside area was wayyyy too loud. And almost no GF options. I definitely don’t recommend spending $177+ per person here unless you just have money to burn. Sorry Karma. When your restaurant is completely empty, and you’re still gouging people for seats it really doesn’t add any additional flavors to the food.
