   This restaurant is absolutely wonderful, except for the noise level. It was packed due to no outdoor seating and very loud. By the way, Open Table says you can not reserve outdoor seating, but this is not correct. You can. Our table was not situated well. It was like we were not even in the restaurant. Sushi bar was empty, beautiful and quiet. Next time I will sit there or outside, now that I know you can reserve outside. Service excellent. Thank you Patrick! Food, incredible and beautifully presented! If you like Japanese food and are happy to pay a bit more, this is a must! Thank you Kasumi, but the booths against the wall as you walk in are not welcoming as one might feel as a side kick of sorts. Busy valet only parking!

   Very beautiful restaurant ! The service was fantastic. My husband and I weren’t so impressed by the sushi- in our opinion it wasn’t anything so special or memorable. Would go back here for just light dinner and drinks.

   Sadly did not meet expectations. Edamame was nothing special. Also tried the salmon belly nigiri which was enjoyable but I've also had better. Then went with the Matsu chef selection which happened to be tuna. At first bite, it tasted "fishy" and therefore, I was hesitant to finish. The only item we ordered that would recommend would be the Brussel sprouts. I was so hoping this restaurant would bring the kind of anchor restaurant that the Waterstone hotel needed but on first try would not recommend.

   Our 2nd visit in 2 nights. Yup, you read that correctly. After our stella dinner the night b4, we returned for a 2nd night. If we were w0wed night 1... we were bowled-over by chef Hemmi and his personally trained sous chef Shawn. Fresh, imaginative, the textures, pairings, visuals... absolutely a brilliant example of Japanese cooking ... Our Brooklyn transplant server was delightful. She is in the right profession. Brilliant smile, well educated in her menu, and easily checked on us at appropriate intervals. The decor of Kasumi is inviting. the intercoastal setting peaceful. Don't miss the new to come to Boca treasure. It's rapidly catching on the a curated cast of diners. Great vibes, pvt room and sultry bar available.

   Overall this first visit to Kasumi was a 10. Server Styler and manager James were on their game and attentive. The only comment we had was whe. You order the chefs choice it should not include a typical tuna roll that can be had at and place. It should have really rocked us. When you expressed this to management, we were given some really impressive offerings made by this exceptionally talented chef. The freshness of each bite is amazing. We sat at the sushi bar and watched the chef and his team turn out delightful plates of delicious food. We will definitely be repeated diners, often.

   Not impressed with the food. Service was a little slow but very friendly. My local sushi place has much better food and more reasonable prices.
