   Food was excellent! Service was very swift. Unluckily the waiter spilled some sauce over one of our coats, and the waiter was trying to ignore it - however the manager reacted very professional (voiding our bottle of wine from the bill). Therefore over all: great, we definitely recommend this place!

   We had a great dinner last night at Kayao. It’s a beautiful restaurant with great food and service. Among other things, we had the redfish, which was extraordinary. Drinks were excellent, as was our server, David. I had read some reviews that said that people felt they had not had enough to eat at Kayao. That was not our experience. It’s a bit pricey, but not far out of line with other restaurants of its quality.

   Kayao was wonderful. It’s a newish gem in Old Town with Peruvian authenticity and absolutely delicious dishes every one. Miguel, our bartender introduced us to their delicious Pisco sour and Andean gin and our meal that followed was a series of artfully created delicious flavors. The oysters, ceviche and Peruvian fried rice must not be missed. Ambiance chic and warm.

   Have a signature cocktail and order the 36 hr slow cooked short rib! Then turn to the top half of the menu for the small plates. EVERYTHING is delicious. Service from hostess stand to the bar to our table, gracious and unobtrusively accommodating. Can’t wait to return
