Everything was lovely, however my braised short rib wasn’t juicy, so disappointing.

Unfortunately, due to staffing shortage in the kitchen, numerous menu items were not available. When we did get our food it was a little cold. Our waitress was pleasant, but she couldn’t make up for the issues in the kitchen.

Oh, my, what is happening to the restaurants at the Music Center? One closed, and Kendall's has gone way downhill, at least as we experienced it one Sunday evening before Christmas '24. They don't have a huge menu, but by 5:15 p.m. they were out of at least 1 thing in every category. They had even run out of baked bread! One of the things we had ordered was the Brussel sprouts in balsamic vinegar glaze. It was burned and not tasty at all; when the table next to ours was told that the kitchen was out of Brussel sprouts, we offered them ours! Admittedly small sample, so maybe others' food was better. But there's no denying they were not adequately stocked.

The beet salad, normally delicious as we've ordered it several times before, was way too salty. It usually has goat cheese and caramelized walnuts. This didn't and had a new dressing and some salty maple bacon hard stuff. Tasted like the beets were oversalted too. However, the waitress took it off the bill which we appreciated. The short rib dinner was delicious as was the chocolate gelato and pots de creme for dessert. Decaf coffee was good too.

Wine was excessive in price and food choice limited.

I dine at Kendall’s frequently. New menu items are being introduced. I tried the quiche and side salad. The portions were perfect for brunch. Service was attentive. The meal was great and I would certainly order it again.

So much wrong here. We had a reservation but they made us wait even thought there were empty tables. The onion soup is served in a tiny bowl and they don’t even fill it up with serve. They serve 3/4 of the bowl. The brick 1/2 chicken was not even close to a half chicken but rather a flattened small breast and flattened wing. What happened to the leg and thigh? It was the tiniest hen. The purée was sparse. For what they charge, the quality should be higher and the portions larger. We will not go back.

We had a lovely meal at Kendall’s . Our server was gracious and attentive without being overbearing. She worked hard to insure our every need was accommodated. Kendall’s is my go to restaurant whenever I come to The Music Center. Thank you for taking such good care of us!

The food was tasteless! The salmon was over cooked too. Extremely disappointed. It was also expensive. Real bummer. As convenient as it is located below the music center not worth the money.
