   Food was decent. Service was very slow. Several diners were up from their table looking for their server. Never offered to refill drinks. We had to stop 2 other servers to ask for our check. Probably won’t be back. Too many other great places to eat in DC.

   Food was delicious, price very fair, environment pleasant, but service was dreadful. Waitress ignored us initially, then our food came before we had water, napkins and silverware. All came at once, not in sequence as we requested and expected. Maybe this was an off or understaffed evening. The food was so good that we will come back one more time. If the service remains as bad, that will be the last visit. If service improves, it will be the next of many visits.

   Wonderful food, great service, excellent treatment for a group that included accommodations for our friend's wheelchair. We agreed unanimously that we'll be back!

   Friendly but inefficient service. Uncleared tables around us. We had to ask for cutlery. Various orders delivered that weren't ours. Music is quite loud. Lights raised about 915 pm (okay, okay, we'll leave.) Drinks overpriced ($21 for a martini?!) and not high quality. Caesar salad looked like it came out of a salad kit from Wegmans. The fish was passable.

   We waited 30 min. for our drinks (nothing from the bar) and an hour for our starters. At least 5 times they brought some other table’s order to us and we had to repeatedly say it was not hours. After an hour with no food and no inclination it was coming, we paid for our drinks and went to another restaurant.

   We didnt get out oysters or shrimp until we asked three times. Hard to get drinks. one of our favorites places because of thd menu and service. tonight service missed the mark

   Bottomless Brunch - for both food & drink - is an incredible deal. Service was great and the food was excellent. Will be back for sure!

    I love King Street Oyster Bar. The food and drinks are outstanding! When I have guests in from out of town I always take them here.
