   Loved the miso sea bass and oysters. We were there celebrating my birthday. I’d rather they provided the option to select the dessert item for the birthday person because I always want the butter cake. Don’t know why that is not an option when you’re spending over $400 for a party of five guests. I guess that’s why we only frequent this restaurant about once every two years. Wait staff are excellent. Atmosphere is nice. Parking is an issue because it is a slow service especially from the bar (took 10+ minutes for each drink ordered) but I believe it was because they were short staffed at the bartender station. We didn’t mind but we did have to pay for parking because we went over the 2 hour free parking allotment at the garage.

   Great service by Jess! Friendly host even!! Food is always good and especially enjoyed extra cold martini and the delicious cheesecake.

   Service was decent as usual but kept delivering dishes to the wrong table. We received another table’s order at least 3 times. The old fashioned used to be the best drink on the menu but has drastically declined in quality. Food portion also has decreased in size as well for the price

   Food quality was mostly good. Amounts were questionable relative to price. I think EMC might be better in terms of price and amount. However, Kings service overall is much better.

   Sometimes the way that the restaurant handles problems is the best way to tell the character of the company. In this case, I ordered Mahi Mahi made with macadamia crust. The first bite was rather solid ¬ flaky. Thinking that was due to the bite coming from the end, I took a bite from the middle & found it, a thicker section, to be even more firm. I cut the fish apart; it was raw except for the outside surfaces. I inadvertantly had eaten raw fish. The server was visibly concerned when she saw it & called the manager over. Both were very apologetic, offered a new Mahi Mahi, or something else from the menu. I was too upset about possible consequences to want to eat anything else. They were very kind. My meal was removed from the check as was the appetizer (crab cake & it was TASTY!) Maybe the cook should have checked the temperature before plating? Anyway, DH claimed his clam linguini to be very good. The ambiance was casual and fun. Service was attentive & friendly. We've been here before & will go back again. But no thick fish for me. Anyway, I still like this place. Thanks to our server for being so sweet & kind.

   My experience was wonderful from check-in, till we left the restaurant. Our server was amazing, checked in on us frequently and gifted my parents a dessert for their anniversary. Food was delicious. I plan on visiting, again.

    This is an excellent restaurant and wait staff. The only issue this visit was that our food was very slow in getting out (a table next to ours was sat a the same time and they had finished and left before we got our food, so there was a goof up somewhere along the line). But the server was such a positive person all the way around, I want to encourage people to overlook it this time and try it yourself.
