   We booked for Sunday Roast at 15.15 and when we got there found a sign saying they had run out of Roast Dinners. They serve Roqst until 18.00 so to run out at 3 isn’t great. The menu on your website is different to what is on the Sunday menu in the pub, the other items we would have rather than the Roast weren’t on the menu so we decided not to dine here as nothing that we wanted on the limited menu.

   Booked for Sunday lunch for a 15:30 sitting. Arrived to be advised of no Sunday lunches available. Not a great amount of apologies Ended up having 1 drink and leaving

   Our visit to the Kings Head, Cromer was very disappointing, after waiting for 1 hour and 15 minute’s we were served cold under cooked vegetables. The Chicken had been cut into small pieces to make it go further than which resulted in it being burnt. And to make things worse there was the rudest waitress I have ever come across.. I was trying to book us in and she just said our name wasn’t on the booking list and walk away !! was supposed to be a birthday treat for my nephew , but turned into a scene from Fawlty Towers. We have dined at the KH many times and always enjoyed it. Let’s hope this was a one off.

   When we turned up the table didn’t have enough seat that we had booked for. The online ordering system was down. The wait on food we were told was 30-45 minutes but our starters took about an hour to turn up. When our mains came to the table one was missing took the staff 10 minutes to give us an answer to why, which we later were told the member of staff who put our order into the kitchen had missed one main off, then they had the audacity to offer us the main at full price with a 20 minute wait so we didn’t do that. The Sunday dinner across the table was under or over cooked for the meat and low quality with lots of tendons and gristle. Would not recommend was not cheap wait time on food was long service slow and food was not good that day. If you go for Sunday lunch order starters as they were good.

   We booked a table on the website and when we got there we were seated in the scruffy tap room area next to the dart board. We checked the menu and as we were two couples booked our meals separately but went to the bar at the same time. We expected one couples meal to follow shortly after the others but that did not happen. Our friends received their meal ate and finished and we were still waiting for ours. We queried this with the waiting staff a number of times but they did not seem to know where our dinner was. Three people on the next table called who came in after us got served and when we were enquiring about our dinner they said they had already sent one meal back as the sausages were undercooked and they had not received a side dish they are ordered despite already finishing their meal. Eventually the second two dinners arrived and although we were annoyed at not being able to eat with our friends the meals were tasty and a decent portion. Overall we had a bad experience and will not be eating there again.

    Don't bother using the booking service! We, like many reviewers on Trip Adviser, were greeted by blank faces when we arrived for our celebratory meal. Until the staff and management improve their communication, booking online will just provide a false sense of security. They offered to take a bar table from the musician at the front of the pub and seat us next to him and his speakers. The staff were not attentive, reassuring or bothered about whether we stayed or left, which we did, and I suggest you just avoid this place altogether!
