   Appetizers were Very Good.........Steaks Good........I should have sent my Sea Bass back something was off about it but I didn't want to disrupt the dinner .

   It was our first time in a fine dining experience and our server Reyes made us feel so loved and taken care of . We celebrated a birthday and everything was amazing . The menu and drink options were explained perfectly. Food was great . We will be back

   An amazing experience every time! Steak melts in your mouth, wait staff are on top of their game, if I could give more than 5 stars I would. Absolutely a must try and promise you will not be disappointed.

   The location of the restaurant is beautiful, located next to a pond. A great place for dates! The service is top notch, our Waiter was patient, didn’t hover over us and really just let us have quiet time to converse. The cost of food is not for the faint of heart, so prepare to open that wallet! The cheapest dish was a salad. If you wanted protein, I think the Chicken Florentine was the cheapest item (less than $20). When you go to a steakhouse, just know the meat is going to be expensive. I had a 7 oz pepper filet $50 cooked medium. I ate it ALL! My partner got the 28 ounce cowboy steak $80 and it was HUGE! The sides are big portions, so ordering just one is plenty to share between 2 people. I never made it to the side, the filet was filling enough after eating the delicious SOUR DOUGH BREAD. I tried to resist, but couldn’t because it was fresh and piping hot, commanding me to lather it up with some butter. Never made it to dessert, just so FULL. We have been here a couple times over the years, I think the last time was over 15 years ago! But, when we walked it, very much felt like it was just yesterday. Folks be knocking Kirby’s down for various reasons, and I dont see it at all. For us, it really is a wonderful place with excellent ambience and good food. They have been here longer than my Daughter has been alive, so that speaks volumes! Keep it up Kirby’s! You are the OG!

   After nearly 15 years we decided to give Kirby's Steakhouse in The Woodlands another shot. Typically we head into Houston for a great steak as The Woodlands tends to fall short in comparison. Our go to spots B&B Butcher, Pappas Bros Downtown and Steak 48 never disappoint. Unfortunately our return to Kirby's confirmed that it still does. Our first experience over a decade ago was underwhelming. Mediocre steaks, flies in the restaurant and an overwhelming cloud of cigarette smoke from the bar. Sadly little has improved. The lingering smoke was unbearable and leaving a high end steakhouse smelling like an ashtray is unacceptable. It is hard to believe that in this day and age smoking is still allowed inside a restaurant. The décor remains unchanged from 15 years ago and it desperately needs a refresh. While the steaks were cooked correctly the overall quality of the meat was disappointing more akin to grocery store grade than a premium steakhouse experience. The service was good but not exceptional lacking the level of hospitality that sets top tier restaurants apart. I would highly recommend that the staff and management read Unreasonable Hospitality to better understand what it takes to run a truly high end dining establishment. With Houston offering so many outstanding steakhouses Kirby's needs to step up its game significantly. As long as smoking is permitted in the restaurant we will not be back.

    We had another wonderful dinner. The Lobster Csrgot was fantastic and our Cowboy Ribeyes were perfect. Our server Reyes again made the evening even more enjoyable.
