    Everything was great…food 10/10 and staff was very friendly. A huge shoutout to the chefs👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽…i am a chef as well and I know good food and when love and passion has been put into it. I’ve been here a few times and I’ve never been disappointed!!!

    Let’s start with the highlight—the food was fantastic! The stuffed salmon was the absolute star of the show—perfectly cooked, flavorful, and worth coming back for. The appetizer trio also deserves a standing ovation: every bite was packed with flavor and beautifully presented. Now, let’s talk drinks. While they looked pretty, they were wildly overpriced—we’re talking $21 to $29 a glass—with barely a whisper of alcohol. If you’re looking to sip something strong, you might want to pre-game elsewhere. The ambiance was charming, and the vibe was lively and fun—but here’s the deal: it was HOT. Like, “why am I sweating while eating this salmon?” hot. The air conditioning was technically on, but you’d never know it. So if you’re planning a summer visit, dress light and breezy—leave the silk and sleeves at home. Heads-up: there’s a 20% service charge automatically added to every check, so budget accordingly. You’re gonna drop some coins whether you mean to or not. All that said, the customer service was excellent, especially Heath—who was attentive, upbeat, and truly elevated the experience. Final takeaway: Come hungry, come cool, and maybe skip the cocktails unless you’re just in it for the ’gram.

    Outstanding gourmet chicken and waffles, southern cooking. The catfish, shrimp and grits, waffles and Lemon drop martini were all over the top delicious. The service was terrific! Highly recommend this place.

    Reservation Date: 7/26/25 Unfortunately, our experience here was extremely disappointing. The restaurant had no air conditioning—something staff admitted had been an issue for a while. It was unbearably hot, and sadly, a woman even passed out, hit her head, and had to be taken out by ambulance. That alone speaks volumes. We drove all the way from Burlington expecting a quality dining experience, but it fell short. There’s a stated dress code we made sure to follow, yet many patrons wore flip-flops, athletic wear, and revealing outfits. If you’re not going to enforce a dress code, why have one? To add to the frustration, we had no clean water glasses or silverware at our table. The food and drinks were good—but not good enough to justify the lack of basic comfort, cleanliness, or service. And to top it off, a 20% tip was automatically added. Definitely not an experience we’d return for.

    The food was amazing but the service was extremely slow. We had a reservation and when we were seated we immediately started to sweat- the AC was definately not working at all but they had fans blowing - it was just blowing away from us. We let the waitress know we were super hot and she seated us at a new seat but never told us that they menu was accessible through a qr code on the table. We then proceeded to wait a minimum of 20 min before a server came to greet us at the new table...we didn't have water or anything and I'd just asked my husband how much longer he wanted to allow before we left. The server that did help us was nice and apologetic but the lack of any form of consideration from the server that was actually assigned to all of the other guests near us and the bartenders who were also near by and should've seen that we weren't being tended to was disappointing. We then received water and ordered an appetizer. While waiting for the appetizer, we ended up placing our entree order and proceeded to wait another 40ish min for food. We had an 8pm reservation which we were on time for but did not eat until after 930. The good news is the food was great....both of us had dishes with a creole sauce but it wasn't evenly distributed. One of my husband's filets was missing sauce completely and they will only give more by charging more.

    Atmosphere was beautiful, perfect music and even better food. The service was so welcoming from the moment you walk through the door and our server was fantastic. Thank you, Cameron for a great experience.

    Our waitress, Carmen, at the Charlotte location was so sweet! We celebrated our birthday and anniversary here and it was one I will not forget! The food was amazing, service was excellent, and the vibes were immaculate!

    The food is always on point at KK by KK! I’ve been to the Dallas (my home) and the Charlotte location. Service can be hit or miss. This time it was great with the exception of the air being out. But, overall I was pleased. Quan, our bartender was phenomenal.
