   We visited the restaurant for Sunday Brunch. The food exceeded our expectations. It was great. I had the Nashville Hot Chicken and Butter Pecan Waffles and my husband had the Shrimp and Grits (and my waffles). The service was really good especially given the crowd . We actually ordered dinner to go so we could try some other items.

   Great food, ambiance and service, however the music is too loud, especially once you couple that when the restaurant gets crowded with lots of people and everyone is talking. Food is way overpriced. Guess the high rent for that space and location is being passed on to the customers.

   I had high hopes for this restaurant, but unfortunately, the experience fell short in several key areas. For the cost, the overall experience felt very overrated. We had a 7:15 PM reservation but weren’t seated until 8:20 PM, leaving us standing by the door where cold air kept coming in. Not a great start. When we finally got seated, we were handed a barcode for the menu. I expect high-end restaurants to provide written menus—it’s a small touch that makes a big difference. The meal itself was disappointing. We started with cold fried pickles, which we had to reorder, and they didn’t arrive until the middle of our main courses. My husband ordered the pasta, but his meal arrived missing the fried snow crab legs. Worse, they didn’t even tell us until his dish was brought out 20 minutes after I had already started eating. But the most frustrating part of the experience was at the end. Instead of handing us a receipt like any restaurant should, they scanned the barcode at the table and read the total out loud. This felt unprofessional and tacky—it’s not how patrons should be treated at any level of dining. Overall, it was an overpriced, underwhelming experience, and I don’t plan on going back.

   Been here five times now and I think the quality is definitely going down unfortunately. I made a reservation for 645 and had to wait 30 minutes to be seated as if I was a walk in. The food quality in my opinion has gone down. I hope they can bring it back up because this was one of my favorite places in DC and now I’m not sure if I’ll be back.

   Reservation was at 8:45pm and we didn’t get seated until 9:45pm. Nobody apologized regarding the wait, seems like they over book and make everyone wait

   Amazing food, outstanding drinks, great music, friendly and attentive staff…the entire experience was the perfect vibe…K+K is a new addition to my favorites list

   I had the short rib that comes with mashed potatoes and mixed veggies (the carrots and Brussels sprouts were not cooked and hard). The price was $37 which is reasonable except the issue with the veggies. The cornbread was luke warm and $11 but was just meh-nothing special. We weren’t told the water would cost $12 until it was time to pay. It was never mentioned and we told the server it was our first time dining there. Overall it was just okay. I may give it one more try in the future but I wasn’t impressed especially at the price point. Service was okay.
