We ate here last year when we visited Joshua Tree. The food was amazing and it’s still amazing.

Unique shareable style dining with medium sized plates perfect for 2-3. It was extremely windy the evening we were there which made everything a very challenging for everyone. Many other outdoor restaurants would have just shut down. Kudos to the KITD staff for keeping it all together and running smoothly. They were pros and deserve top marks.

Molto carino, necessario prenotare altrimenti si aspetta molto. Poca offerta nei piatti ma molto buona la qualità. Da provare il pie della casa!

The food was outstanding! Our group of eight was able to try many items on the menu which were all delicious. The beet carpaccio, the spring mix salad, the Brussels sprouts, the curry chana, the smash burger, red beans, lamb pops and jerk chicken. Everything we presented beautifully and had wonderful flavors. The cherry pie, turtle pie and homemade vanilla ice cream topped off the meal. A total delight! The outdoor heaters and blankets are great, and a few evening sprinkles did not dampen our enjoyment of the atmosphere or meal.

We had a 7:45 reservation and didn’t get seated until 8:30, despite the fact multiple tables were open. Another group had the same issue as us, so clearly not an isolated incident. Once seated, the food came quickly, however the overall experience was definitely tainted by the inexplicable slowness of the table turns.

This type of restaurant is needed in this area but the execution was just too off. We had reservations but the time from arriving to paying was nearly two hours and we had to wait for everything. Waiting for drink orders, waiting for food to arrive…it’s a tapas type place, which is fine, but plates were never changed out. For every new dish we were left tasting the prior dishes on our same old plates. The aesthetic of this place was great but service, timing, food, was really not great. I wish it was all better but it just wasn’t.
